For candidates

Complete your profile

Creating your account, profile fields, and CV upload.

Last updated: 30 September 2026

Your profile is what recruiters and hiring organizations see when they review you for a role. A complete profile with an up-to-date CV moves through the process faster and gets matched to more relevant openings.

Create your account

On the candidate sign-in page, select Create a free account. Enter your name, email, mobile number and a password, and accept the privacy policy.

Confirm your email

Workrize emails you a link. Open it to confirm your email; you are signed straight in to your dashboard. The link works once and expires after 48 hours. If it has expired, the page lets you ask for a new one.

Fill in your profile

Add your details and upload your CV from Profile, as described below.

You cannot sign in until you have confirmed your email. If you try, the sign-in page offers to send you a new link.

Note: If a recruiter already created a profile for you, don't start a new one. Sign up with the same email (or use Forgot password? on the sign-in page) and Workrize emails you a link to set your password. Your existing profile and applications are kept.

Finish onboarding

If your account was created some other way, Workrize may take you through a short onboarding step the first time you sign in, to collect your mobile number and address. Until it is complete, the app returns you to that step each time you sign in.

Keep your profile up to date

To view or edit your profile, select Profile in the sidebar.

Keep these areas current:

  • Personal details — your name, phone number, gender, date of birth, and address, on the General tab.
  • What employers see — under your gender and date of birth, on the General tab, two switches: Show my gender to employers and Show my date of birth to employers. Both are on to start with. Turn one off and select Save Changes, and the companies whose jobs you apply for no longer see that detail anywhere, including your answer to any date of birth question on an application. Workrize staff always see both, whatever you choose.
  • CV — your most recent CV. Recruiters and clients review this document directly, so replace it whenever you have a newer version.
  • Work history — your previous roles and employers, which help recruiters assess your fit.
Tip: Update your CV before you apply, not after. An application is reviewed with the CV that is on file at the time of review.

Save your details

On the General tab, fill in or change your details, then select Save Changes at the bottom of the form:

  • While it saves, the button shows Saving....
  • Once your details are saved, the button shows Saved ✓ and Changes saved appears beside it. Nothing else to do.
  • If they could not be saved, for example because you lost your connection, a message in red says Your changes were not saved and why. Fix anything that is highlighted, then select Save Changes again.

Your current address and your permanent address (under Edit permanent address) are saved together. Categories on the Preferences tab are saved with Save Preferences, which confirms the same way.

Upload or replace your CV

To update your CV:

Open your profile

Select Profile in the sidebar.

Go to the CV section

Find the CV area of your profile, which shows your current document if you have one.

Upload the new file

Upload your new CV. The new document replaces the previous one for all future reviews.

Your CV must be a PDF or a Word document (.pdf, .doc or .docx), up to 10MB. Photos of a CV (JPG or PNG) are not accepted. You can drag the file onto the CV area or click it to choose one. If an upload fails, your previous CV stays on file.

Add your education and experience

On Profile, open the Education & experience tab:

  • Work experience: select Add, then enter your role, the employer, when you started and, unless you still work there, when you left. You can add a short note on what you did.
  • Education: select Add, then enter the qualification, the institute and the years.

Use the arrows to put the most important entries first, and the pencil to edit. Employers see these on your profile, and they're what your resume is built from.

Your data

At the bottom of Profile, under Your data:

  • Download my data saves a PDF you can open on any phone or computer, with everything Workrize holds about you in labelled sections: your account, consent, profile (phone numbers, gender, date of birth, whether you show your gender and date of birth to employers, address and permanent address, categories), CV file name, education, work experience, applications with their status and the date you applied, screening answers, assessments and invites. A section with nothing in it says None.
  • Download as JSON, the link under the buttons, saves the same data as a machine-readable file, for moving it to another service.
  • Delete my account hides your profile, CV, answers and applications from everyone and signs you out. You'll be asked for your password to confirm. For 15 days you can still get it back: email operations@coldpressery.in and we will restore it (we may call the phone number on your account to check it is you). After that it is erased for good, so download your data first if you might want it. Once it's done you land on a page that says the exact date and time until which it can be recovered, with Email us to recover it and Explore Workrize. If the password is wrong, nothing is deleted and you see an error.
  • Signing in after deleting shows a message that the account was deleted and until when it can be recovered, instead of signing you in. Signing up again or using Forgot password with the same email sends you that message by email. Once the account is erased you can sign up again with the same email.
