The latest features, improvements, and fixes in Workrize. Newest first.
v2.26.341
Workrize now opens at app.workrize.in
The app has moved from app.farmsae.com to app.workrize.in; old links and bookmarks still open the right page.
Improved
A new address for the app. Sign in at app.workrize.in. The public site, with the jobs board, is at workrize.in.
Old links keep working. Bookmarks, emails and shared links that name app.farmsae.com open the same page on app.workrize.in.
Sign in once more. The first time you open the new address you are asked to sign in again; after that it remembers you as before.
v2.26.336
workrize.in is the new Workrize site
Find jobs and learn about Workrize at workrize.in; sign in and apply at app.workrize.in, as before.
New
Workrize has its own site at workrize.in. Job seekers can search the jobs board, read how applying works and make a free profile there. Companies can read how Workrize hires for them and send an enquiry.
Signing in has not changed.Sign in, Make my free profile and Apply on workrize.in take you to app.workrize.in, where your account, applications and messages are. Links in Workrize emails open there too, and old links still forward to the right page.
Improved
The site's pages show their text sooner on a phone. Fonts that the first screen does not use now load only when a page needs them.
No click sparkles if your device asks for less motion. If your phone or computer is set to reduce motion, clicking on the site no longer draws the small spark animation.
v2.26.333
The public site says what we do in plain words
Every public page now uses plain words, tells companies how fees work, and shows no example text or numbers we cannot back.
Changed
Plain words on every public page. The home, companies, job-seeker, about and contact pages now say what happens to an application in everyday words: you see its status, and you get an email each time it changes.
Companies see how fees work. You pay a fee when someone you hire joins, on terms agreed before we start. Job seekers never pay anything. After sending the form, a company is told a recruiter will reply within one working day.
Campaign pages are only live once they are complete. A campaign page that still has a detail to fill in, such as a college's name, stays hidden until it is filled in.
v2.26.337
The public pages open faster on phones
The home page, job pages, the job-seekers page and the companies page now appear sooner on a phone.
Improved
The public pages open faster on phones. The home page, each job page, the job-seekers page and the companies page now load less before they show, so on a phone the page's main content appears up to a second and a half sooner on a slow connection. Nothing on the pages looks or works differently.
v2.26.328
The privacy notice and terms, in plain words
Read what Workrize records, who sees your profile and how to download or delete your data, with a short version at the top.
Changed
The privacy notice starts with a short version. It then says what Workrize records about job seekers, staff and visitors, who sees a job seeker's profile, how long each kind of record is kept, and who to write to.
The visitor cookie is named. The notice says what workrize_vid holds, how long it lasts, that it is Workrize's own and that it is never used for advertising.
Download or delete your data from your profile. The notice links straight to Profile → Your data, where a job seeker downloads everything as a PDF or JSON file or deletes their account.
The terms say it plainly: Workrize never charges job seekers for jobs, interviews or offers. If anyone asks you to pay in Workrize's name, the terms link to where you can report it.
Both pages show the date they were last updated.
v2.26.323
One place to talk to us
Hiring or looking for a job, there is now one Talk to us form, and the right person replies.
New
One Talk to us form for everyone. Choose whether you are hiring or looking for a job, and the form asks only what that needs. Companies tell us the role, how many people and which cities, and say if we may call. Job seekers pick profile help, an application question or a fake call report, and tell us what happened.
A job seeker is never treated as a sales lead. Their message goes to the people who help candidates, and we never ask them for money.
Reporting a fake call is one tap away. The Report it button and the footer link open the form already set to a scam report, and the team sees it flagged.
Changed
The old Contact and Book a demo pages now take you to Talk to us, so saved links keep working.
v2.26.329
Old links open the new pages
Bookmarks and shared links to the old Workrize pages now open the page that replaced them, and the Companies page shows the platform's tools.
Changed
Old links open the page that replaced them. A bookmark, a shared link or a search result for one of the old pages now opens its new page straight away, with any tracking tags in the link kept:
the old For Candidates page opens the Job seekers page;
the old For Recruiters, Features, Migrate to Workrize, Resources and Demo pages open the Companies page;
Book a demo opens Talk to us with Hiring already chosen, and the old Contact us page opens Talk to us;
the old Our Story page opens the About page.
The Companies page shows the platform. A new section lists the tools your recruiter hires with, from candidate ranking to the referral engine, and what moving from spreadsheets or another system involves: encryption, a record-by-record check after the move, and your old system running alongside until you switch.
v2.26.325
Search jobs by role and city, compare them down one list, and read one beside it
The jobs board now filters by city, type of role, your experience and whether pay is shown, and on a computer opens the job you pick next to the list.
Changed
Search by role and city. Type a role or skill, pick a city, and tap Search. The home page search lands on the same results.
Narrow the list. Pick a type of role, say how much experience you have (from Fresher to 10+ years), or show only jobs that state their pay. "Clear all" starts again.
Compare jobs down one list. Each job reads its title, who is hiring and where, the pay (or "Pay not shared"), then the experience it asks for and when it was posted.
Read a job without losing your place. On a computer, the job you pick opens beside the list, with Apply right there. On a phone, tapping a job opens its page.
Send someone your search. The address keeps your search, filters, page and the job you picked, so a shared link opens the same list.
Asked for money? Every job's page now says that isn't us, with a link to report the call.
v2.26.320
A page that tells job seekers what they get free
The new job seekers page says what is free, what Workrize never does and what to do about a fake call.
Added
A job seekers page at /job-seekers. It leads with one promise, that a real person reads every application, and answers the worries people bring with them: not hearing back, being asked to pay, a computer rejecting you, hidden pay and fake jobs. It lists the six things you get without paying, the three things Workrize never does, and who to tell about a fake call.
Light and dark. The page follows the theme you chose.
Changed
The old For Candidates page now opens the job seekers page. Bookmarks and links to /for-candidate still work.
v2.26.324
A job's page says who is hiring, the pay, and what happens after you apply
The public page for each job now reads like the rest of the site, puts the pay first, and explains the next step before you apply.
Changed
A job's page has the site's header and footer. You can get back to the jobs board, or anywhere else on the site, from any job.
You can see who is hiring, even when the company keeps its name private. It reads "A company in Banking is hiring" (the company's industry) instead of a blank.
Pay comes first. The pay sits in its own highlighted box, or reads "Pay not shared" when the job doesn't say. Experience and the number of openings sit beside it when the job states them.
Apply with your profile. The button takes you to sign in or create your account, then straight to the application.
What happens after you tap Apply. One of our recruiters reads your application, calls you if it fits, and you get an email each time its status changes. You never pay us for a job or an interview.
Share a job. On a phone, Share opens your share sheet; on a computer it copies the link.
A closed job says so and offers the jobs board instead.
v2.26.331
The home page shows the marks a recruiter leaves on your application
A new drawing on the home page: your application with a line marked, a tick, a recruiter's note and a phone ringing.
Improved
The home page shows what happens to your application. Beside the search, a drawing shows an application with one line marked and a tick in the margin, a recruiter's handwritten note, and a phone ringing with a call from a Workrize recruiter. It now shows on phones too, under the search.
It works in dark mode and with reduced motion. The drawing uses the site's colours in both themes. The phone rings briefly once the page opens; if your device is set to reduce motion, it stays still.
v2.26.319
A new home page for job seekers
workrize.in now opens with what happens to your application, a search, and the jobs open right now with their pay.
New
A home page written for job seekers. It says what happens after you apply: a recruiter reads your application, calls you if the job fits, and you get an email each time its status changes.
Search from the first screen. Type a job title or a city and see matching jobs on the jobs board.
Jobs open right now. Four open jobs show the pay, experience and work mode; "Pay not shared" appears when the company has not stated it.
Works in light and dark. The page follows your theme.
v2.26.332
Every public page shows where a recruiter has read and replied
New drawings on the job seekers, job, about and companies pages, and small ones for each step of applying.
Improved
The job seekers page shows your application moving. The example timeline now has a tick by the step a recruiter did, a handwritten note, and the email you get when the status changes.
Each job page shows who reads your application. Beside the job, a recruiter's note and a phone ringing with a call from a Workrize recruiter.
The about page and the companies page have their own drawings. About shows a stack of applications with the top one marked. Companies shows an example shortlist with a recruiter's note on it.
The four steps of applying each have a small drawing, and an empty jobs list now shows one too.
All of them work in dark mode and with reduced motion. At most one thing moves in each drawing, once; if your device is set to reduce motion, nothing moves.
v2.26.321
A page that shows companies how Workrize hires for them
The new companies page explains the five steps from brief to joining day and takes a hiring enquiry.
Added
A companies page at /companies. It shows the shortlist a company decides from, the work we do before a candidate reaches you, the five steps from brief to joining day, what you see in your portal, and how fees work. Fees are agreed per role before we start.
Tell us who you're looking for. A short form sends your role, how many people and which cities to our team.
Light and dark. The page follows the theme you chose.
Changed
The old For Recruiters page now opens the companies page. Bookmarks and links to /for-recruiter still work.
v2.26.322
The companies page shows the work behind a shortlist
A moving funnel on the companies page shows candidates found, called, screened and shortlisted for one example role.
Added
A hiring funnel on the companies page. For one example role, candidates drift down five levels, from found to joined, so you can see the work we do before a shortlist reaches you. The numbers beside it are labelled as an example.
Still when you want it still. If your device is set to reduce motion, the funnel does not move. It also pauses when you scroll past it or switch tabs.
v2.26.325
An About page that says who is behind Workrize
The new About page tells our story, what we hold ourselves to, who we are and how to reach us.
Added
An About page at /about. It says who is behind Workrize in the founder's own words, the three things we hold ourselves to (we email you at every step, a person decides who gets hired, and you never pay to find a job), who is on the team, and the company name and email to write to.
Light and dark. The page follows the theme you chose.
Changed
The old Our Story page now opens the About page. Bookmarks and links to /about/our-story still work.
The company name is spelled one way, ColdPressery, as on the privacy and terms pages.
v2.26.315
The website has a new header and footer
Every page of workrize.in now has one header with a Sign in menu for job seekers and for companies, and a new footer.
Changed
One Sign in button with two choices. On the website, Sign in opens a short menu: Job seekers for your profile, jobs and applications, and Companies and recruiters for shortlists, vacancies and your hiring team. Both take you to app.workrize.in. New job seekers can choose Create a free profile from the same menu.
Each page shows the links for who it is for. The home page and the jobs pages show Jobs, How applying works and About, with a Find a job button. The pages for companies show How we hire for you, Roles we fill and About, with a Talk to us button. A link in the top bar takes you to the other side.
A menu on phones. On a phone, the menu button at the top right opens the same links, both Sign in choices and the page's main button, all large enough to tap easily.
A new footer. The footer lists the links for job seekers, for companies and about Workrize, and says on every page that Workrize never asks job seekers for money, with a link to report a fake call.
v2.26.310
Ranking, bidding and the referral engine are back on the website
The Features, For Candidates and Migrate pages describe these features again.
Changed
The Features page lists these features again: candidate ranking, talent bidding, vendor orchestration, the referral engine, the candidate persona builder, branding and employer value, the talent community and native platform sync.
The For Candidates page shows the referral engine again, and the Product and For Candidates menus link to it and to candidate ranking.
The Migrate page describes the migration in full again: running your old and new systems side by side, AES-256 encryption and zero data loss.
The website still makes no AI claims, shows no price plans and promises no guaranteed answer.
v2.26.309
Every website enquiry in one list
Admins see each enquiry from the website, give it an owner and mark it contacted or closed.
New
Enquiries, under People. Every enquiry sent from Book a demo or Contact us on the website is listed, newest first, with who wrote, how to reach them, what they said and the page they wrote from. The team's email about a new enquiry links straight here.
Give each one an owner. Choose who will get back to them, so nobody is called twice and nobody is missed.
Move it along. Mark an enquiry Contacted, then Closed. Filter by status or kind, or search by name, company or email.
The pages of workrize.in now turn dark when your phone or computer is set to dark, or when you chose Dark in the app.
Changed
Dark mode on the website. The website used to stay light even when your device was set to dark. It now follows the same setting as the app: your device's setting, or Dark or Light if you chose one in your account menu. The header, the Sign in menu, the phone menu, the footer and every page turn dark together.
Easier to read in both themes. The box at the end of each page that invites you to get started now keeps the same dark colours on every page, and two highlighted lines on the home page, which showed as a coloured bar with the words hidden in it, now read clearly.
v2.26.314
Search engines can find every public page and job
Workrize now gives search engines a list of its public pages and live jobs, and keeps them out of the signed-in app.
New
Search engines get a list of every public page and live job. When a job goes live it joins the list within a few minutes; when it closes it leaves.
Search engines are kept out of the signed-in app. They are told to read the public site and job pages, and to skip dashboards, sign-in and candidate accounts.
A shared Workrize link shows a fresh preview. The image under a shared link to the site now uses the current Workrize colours.
v2.26.307
Our public pages say only what we do
The website no longer mentions features, prices or promises that Workrize does not offer.
Changed
The website describes what Workrize does today. The Features, For Recruiters, For Candidates and Migrate pages, the menus, the footer and the link preview no longer mention features we do not offer, such as AI screening.
No price plans on the website. Fees are agreed per role; the For Recruiters page now says so and links to Contact us.
A job's page shows only what the employer entered. It no longer shows "Full-time" for every job, or "Remote" when a job has no address.
v2.26.313
Job pages can appear in Google's job search
A public job page now carries the job's details for Google, and a shared job link shows its title, place and pay.
New
Jobs can appear in Google's job search. Each public job page now tells Google the job's title, description, place, the date it was posted and the pay when you publish it. A client who is not named to candidates is shown to Google as "Confidential". Google decides when to list a job; it usually takes a few days after the page is first found.
A shared job link shows a clear preview. On WhatsApp, LinkedIn and other apps, a job link now shows the job title, the place and the pay, with an image of the same.
The pay shows on the job page. When a vacancy publishes a pay band, it appears beside the place at the top of the page.
v2.26.308
An enquiry from the website reaches the team
The Book a demo and Contact us forms now save what you send and tell our team straight away.
Fixed
Your enquiry reaches us. When you fill in Book a demo or Contact us on our website, what you send is now saved and our team gets an email about it at once, so someone gets back to you.
You see "thank you" only once it is saved. If something goes wrong, the form says so and gives you an email address to write to instead, so your message is never lost.
New
Ask for a call. Both forms have an optional phone number and a You may call me about this enquiry box. Tick it and we will call you.
v2.26.311
Workrize moves to app.workrize.in
Sign in at app.workrize.in from now on. Old links and email links still open the right screen.
Changed
Workrize now opens at app.workrize.in. Recruiters, line managers, clients and candidates sign in at app.workrize.in. workrize.in is the public website: the jobs board, features and how to get in touch.
Sign in once more after the move. Your saved sign-in belongs to the old address, so the first time you open app.workrize.in you are asked to sign in again. After that it remembers you as before.
Old links still work. A bookmark, a shared link or a link in an older email that points at the old address opens the same screen at app.workrize.in.
v2.26.301
Template variables tick the one you tap
On a phone, a tap on an email template's variable tick box no longer ticks the one in the next row.
Fixed
A tap on a template variable ticks that variable only. In an email template's Variables this template uses list (Automation → Templates, and a client's Settings), the tick boxes sat so close on a phone that a tap just below one could tick the variable in the next row. Each row now has room for a finger, so a tap ticks the box you meant.
v2.26.294
A tap on a switch changes only that row
On a touch screen, tapping a switch, tick box or option now changes only the one you tapped.
Fixed
A tap on a vacancy's Public switch changes that vacancy only. On a tablet or a touch laptop, the area around each switch that responds to a tap reached into the next row of the vacancy list, so a tap just below one vacancy's switch could make the next vacancy public. Each switch, tick box and option now responds only within its own row, and the area is still large enough to hit easily with a finger.
The switch beside the vacancy status no longer covers its edge. On a vacancy's page, a click on the right edge of the Vacancy status box now opens the box instead of changing the Public switch beside it.
v2.26.295
Candidates choose whether employers see their gender and date of birth
Two switches in the candidate's profile decide whether employers see their gender and date of birth; employers now see a Personal details card when the candidate allows it.
New
Candidates choose what employers see. On the General tab of their profile, a candidate has two switches: Show my gender to employers and Show my date of birth to employers. Both are on to start with, for every candidate. Only the candidate can change them.
Employers see Personal details. On an application's Candidate Info tab, employers now see the candidate's gender and date of birth, unless the candidate turned that detail off. If both are off, there is no Personal details card.
Improved
A hidden detail stays hidden everywhere. When a candidate turns a detail off, employers do not get it in candidate lists, filters, counts, sorting or reports either. Workrize staff always see both.
v2.26.299
The tick box at the start of a list row responds at its edge
The select tick box in the first column of a list now responds to a click or tap all the way round it.
Fixed
The select tick box at the start of each row responds all the way round. In lists with a tick box in the first column (candidates, users, questions, applications, referrals and the candidate bin), the area around each box that responds to a click or tap was cut off on its left side by the edge of the list. The box now has a little more room, so a click or tap just left of it selects the row, with a mouse or a finger. On a tablet or a touch laptop the first column is a few pixels wider to fit it.
v2.26.317
See visits to the public website
Product usage now shows visits to each public page, and how many visitors signed up or sent an enquiry, by campaign or source.
New
A Public site section on Product usage. Admins see how many people visited the public website in the period, how many started an application, signed up as a candidate or sent an enquiry, and the landing page and source of each visitor.
Visits per page. Each public page shows its views and visitors, and of the visitors who landed on it, how many signed up or sent an enquiry.
Results per campaign or source. Add ?utm_source= (and optionally utm_medium and utm_campaign) to a link you share, and its visitors, sign-ups and enquiries are listed under that source. Visitors from other websites are listed by that website, and the rest as direct.
No personal data. A visitor is a random id kept in the browser for 13 months. Names, email addresses and phone numbers are never recorded.
v2.26.304
A tap on the password box no longer opens password reset
On a phone or tablet, the 'Forgot password?' link on the sign-in pages no longer reaches over the password box.
Fixed
A tap on the password box lets you type your password. On the sign-in pages, a tap near the top of the Password box on a phone or tablet could open Forgot password? instead. The link now has its own room above the box, so a tap on the box goes to the box.
v2.26.298
Download my data includes what you show employers
A candidate's Download my data now records whether they show their gender and date of birth to employers.
Improved
Download my data includes your two show-to-employers choices. The Profile section of the PDF, and the JSON copy, now list Show my gender to employers and Show my date of birth to employers, each with Yes or No as you have it set on the General tab of your profile.
v2.26.306
The date of birth calendar opens on the birth year
On a candidate's details, the date of birth calendar opens on the saved date, not on this month.
Fixed
Setting a date of birth no longer means paging back month by month. On a candidate's details, selecting Age opened the calendar on the current month. It now opens on the candidate's saved date of birth, or on January of the year a 25-year-old was born when none is saved. The month and year lists at the top still jump straight to any year.
v2.26.296
A private date of birth stays private in screening answers too
When a candidate keeps their date of birth from employers, their answer to a date of birth question is hidden from employers as well.
Fixed
A date of birth question follows the candidate's choice. Candidates can keep their date of birth from employers in their profile. Until now, a candidate's answer to a vacancy question that asks for a date of birth was still shown to the employer. When a candidate turns off Show my date of birth to employers, employers no longer see that answer in the candidate's screening answers, in reports or in exports, and filtering candidates by that question does not find them. Workrize staff still see every answer, and nothing changes for a candidate who leaves the switch on.
v2.26.297
A date of birth stays as it was saved
Saving your profile no longer changes a date of birth you did not edit, and a date picked by staff is saved as that day.
Fixed
Saving your profile leaves your date of birth alone. On My Profile, Save Changes sent your date of birth again even when you had changed something else, and the stored date was rewritten. It is now saved only when you change it.
A date of birth picked on a candidate's page is saved as the day you picked. In India, a date chosen from the calendar on a candidate's details was saved as the evening of the day before, so the candidate's own profile could show it one day early. It is now saved as the day you picked.
v2.26.305
Date answers read as dates in reports
A date of birth or other date answer now shows as the full date in a report, not just the year.
Fixed
A date of birth answer shows the whole date in a report. A report column for a date of birth question, or any other date question, showed only the year, such as 1990. It now shows the day, month and year, such as 01/05/1990, on the day the candidate picked.
v2.26.300
Tapping a name on a phone opens the record
On a phone, a tap at the start of a name in a list no longer ticks the row's box instead.
Fixed
A tap on a name in a phone list opens that record. In the applications, candidates and referrals lists on a phone, the area around each row's tick box that responds to a tap reached the first letters of the name beside it, so a tap there could tick the row instead of opening it. The tick box now responds only up to the name, and is still large enough to hit easily with a finger.
v2.26.307
The Honey Bear Method post shows its cover picture
A blog post that showed a broken picture at the top now shows its cover.
Fixed
The Honey Bear Method blog post has its cover picture back. The top of the post showed a broken picture, because the picture it named was never added. It now shows a picture of a candidate at the centre of their reviews and feedback.
v2.26.292
Ticked boxes and chosen options are easy to see
A ticked checkbox and a chosen radio option now fill with the brand colour and show a clear tick or dot, in light and dark mode.
Fixed
Ticked boxes fill in. A ticked checkbox, in a table's row selection, a filter's options or a form, now fills with the brand colour and shows a light tick (a dark one in dark mode), so you can tell ticked from unticked at a glance. The All box in a filter used to show a dark tick that was hard to read.
Chosen options show their dot. When a choice is made with round option buttons, such as setting a status for several migration rows at once, the chosen one now fills and shows its dot. Before, the dot was invisible in light mode, so nothing looked chosen.
v2.26.291
A candidate without a CV opens straight away
Opening a candidate who has no CV now shows that there is no CV at once, instead of a screen that kept reloading in the background.
Fixed
No CV, no flicker. Opening the Resume / CV tab of an application for a candidate who has not uploaded a CV could keep reloading in the background for as long as the page stayed open. It now shows No Resume Available once and stays put. The CV page a client opens from an application shows No CV uploaded for this candidate without first asking for a file that does not exist.
Preview and Download still work as before for a candidate who has a CV. On the CV card, the file is now fetched when you click Preview or Download, rather than every time the card appears.
v2.26.282
Filtered columns stand out
A column with a filter applied now shows a filled filter icon, and the filter options sit on one line.
Changed
You can see which columns are filtered. On every table, a column with a filter applied now shows its filter icon filled in colour. Columns without a filter keep the plain icon.
Filter options read cleanly. In a filter with a list of options, is any of, is none of and Select none now sit side by side on one line, and the filter panel is a little wider. Select none stays in its place and is greyed out once nothing is ticked.
v2.26.293
See the CV on the profile, and delete or replace it safely
The CV now shows on the candidate's profile, Word files preview, drag-and-drop works, pictures are refused clearly, and a CV can be deleted.
New
Delete a CV. An admin, or the recruiter who owns the candidate, can delete a CV from the candidate's profile. You are asked to confirm first, and the deletion is recorded in the activity log.
Improved
The CV shows on the profile. The candidate's profile now shows the CV itself under the CV card, not an empty space.
Word files preview. Both .docx and older .doc files are turned into a PDF for the preview. While that runs, the preview says it is being prepared instead of saying the format is not supported.
Fixed
Drag-and-drop works. Dragging a file onto the CV card no longer flickers or loses the file, and a file dropped just outside the card no longer opens in the browser.
Pictures are refused clearly. A JPG or PNG is refused with a message asking for a PDF or Word document.
A failed replace keeps the old CV. If a new CV fails to upload, the previous one stays, and the message says so.
v2.26.285
A clearer top bar
Master Search stands out at the top of every page, the buttons beside it are one size, and the profile menu, the keyboard shortcuts list and the scrollbars look tidier.
Changed
Master Search. The search button at the top right now reads Master Search and is filled in teal, so it is easy to spot. It works as before: select it, or press ⌘K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows), to find a candidate, application, vacancy or position from any page. On a phone it shows only the magnifying glass.
Even buttons. The notifications, Help and profile buttons, and your working-state button, are all the same height with the same space between them, and their icons are a little larger.
Profile menu. Your name is shown in bold with your role underneath, then Profile Settings, and Sign out in red at the bottom. A long name wraps onto a second line instead of being cut off.
Keyboard shortcuts. In the shortcuts list (press ?), every description now starts in the same place, and every key looks the same.
Scrollbars. Scrollbars are the same thin size everywhere, whether a list scrolls down or sideways. Sideways scrollbars used to be much thicker.
v2.26.289
A wider, clearer candidate side panel
The candidate side panel is wider, its header is better organised, and the details, category tags and target jobs are grouped and easier to read.
Changed
A wider side panel. Selecting a candidate in the Candidates list opens a side panel that takes about 40% of the screen (never narrower than before). Other side panels, such as vacancies and applications, keep their size. On a phone the panel still fills the screen.
A clearer header. The candidate's name is larger and shows in full, even when it is long. The status and last-call badges sit together under the name, the lead owner has its own box with their role, and WhatsApp, Call, Log outcome, Refer and Process Lead are one row of buttons of the same height. The same header is used on the candidate's full page.
Details in sections. The candidate's details are grouped under Personal details (gender, age), Contact (email, phone, alternate numbers), Location (city, state and the rest of the address) and Additional information (invites and, for admins, source). Labels and values are larger. Each field is still edited by selecting it, as before.
Easier category tags. The category search box, the selected categories and the checkboxes are larger and better spaced.
Target jobs. On the candidate's full page the Target Jobs card has a clear heading with the number of jobs, and larger text.
v2.26.288
Clearer candidate details on an application
The Candidate Info tab sets out the candidate's details in cards, the application header is tidier, and staff can message the candidate on WhatsApp from it.
Changed
Candidate Info tab. On an application, the Candidate tab is now Candidate Info. The candidate's details are grouped into cards: contact information, professional details (with the candidate status as a badge), address and, for our team, personal details. Nothing that was shown before is gone; the CV stays on the Resume / CV tab.
A tidier header. The candidate's email and phone sit on one line with matching icons, and a divider separates them from the status and the main action.
New
WhatsApp from an application. Recruiters, line managers and admins see a green WhatsApp button beside the candidate's phone. It opens the same message window as the candidate's page, with templates that already know the vacancy and the client. If the candidate has more than one number, you choose which one. The button is hidden when there is no valid number.
v2.26.284
A partly filtered column no longer reads as All
The All box at the top of a filter's options shows a dash when only some options count, instead of a tick.
Fixed
The All box tells the truth. In a filter with a list of options, the All box used to look ticked even after you narrowed the column, most noticeably with is none of. It now shows a tick only when every option counts, a dash when only some do, and stays empty when none do.
Select-all boxes in table headings. The box at the top of a table shows a dash when only some rows on the page are ticked, rather than a tick.
v2.26.262
Signing in, signing up and resetting a password happen on one calm card
Every sign-in page now looks the same and works on a phone. The page says who it is for, mistakes are explained right under the box that needs fixing, and the general sign-in page first asks whether you are hiring or looking for work.
New
"Who are you?" on the sign-in page. Choose Companies and recruiters or Job seekers and you get the right sign-in for you. Anyone who opened a link that needed signing in still lands where they were going.
Invitations show who invited you. When you open an invitation to join a company on Workrize, the card shows the company's name and the email address you were invited with, so you know which account you are setting up.
Improved
One card for every sign-in page. Recruiters, clients, admins and job seekers see the same card, with who it is for in the title ("Sign in — Recruiter"). Signing up, resetting a password, confirming your email and accepting an invitation use the same card.
Mistakes are explained where they happened. A missing email, a wrong password or passwords that don't match are explained under the box to fix, and the cursor moves there for you.
Easier on a phone. Boxes and buttons are bigger and easier to tap, the text no longer zooms in when you start typing, and nothing runs off the side of the screen.
v2.26.270
Choose light, dark or your device's setting
Open your account menu and pick Light, Dark or Device. The screen changes at once and your choice follows you to every computer and phone you sign in on.
New
Light, Dark or Device. Open your account menu and choose a theme. Device follows your computer or phone and changes when it does. The screen switches at once, with no flash of the wrong colours when a page opens.
Your choice goes with you. It is saved to your account, so signing in on another computer or on your phone shows the same theme.
Good to know
The public website (home, jobs, features and the other pages that anyone can open) always stays light.
An administrator viewing Workrize as you sees your theme, and goes back to their own when they stop.
v2.26.264
Job cards say what a job asks for, and you apply in one step
Each vacancy card now shows the experience it asks for, the pay (or that the pay is not shared) and whether the work is on-site, hybrid or remote. Applying opens one sheet with any questions inside it, and on a computer the vacancy opens beside the list.
New
Experience and work mode on the vacancy. When you create or edit a vacancy you can now say how many years of experience it needs (from, to, or just one of them) and whether the work is on-site, hybrid or remote. Both are optional.
Clearer job cards. On Jobs, on Home and on the public jobs board, each card shows the experience, the pay and the work mode as small labels. A vacancy with no salary range says Pay not shared. If a vacancy does not state its experience or work mode, that label is simply left out.
Apply in one step. Tap Apply on a card and one sheet opens. It shows what will be sent from your profile, asks any questions the vacancy still needs answered right there, and has one button: Apply with my profile. When it is sent, the card reads Applied, with a link to your application.
Vacancy beside the list on a computer. On a wide screen, your vacancies sit in a list on the left and the one you pick opens on the right, with Apply at the top. Picking another vacancy keeps your place in the list.
Fixed
On your application's page, the progress bar now uses the same status wording as the rest of your applications, never the recruitment team's internal labels.
Unchanged
You still only see vacancies that match the kinds of work on your profile, and the same questions are required before you can apply.
People browsing the public jobs board without an account see the new cards but no Apply button; they sign up to apply.
v2.26.267
Shortlists and Interviews, and a simpler menu for clients
Clients get a new menu, a Shortlists page of candidates waiting for their decision, and an Interviews page with the date and time of each interview.
New
A simpler menu. Dashboard, Vacancies, Shortlists, Interviews and Your team are always in view. Positions, branches, assessments, report templates, members and settings are under Organisation.
Shortlists. The candidates your recruiter has put forward and who are not interviewed yet, longest waiting first. A card marked Your decision is one you can decide. For the others it says who the decision is waiting on.
Interviews. Interviews that are scheduled show the day, time and how it is held. Interviews waiting for feedback are listed too, with the outcome once it is recorded.
On a phone each candidate is one card with a large Open button.
Good to know
Your team is the same Members page as before.
Approving and rejecting from the card comes in a later update. For now, open the candidate to decide.
v2.26.265
Candidates see a client's name only when the client agrees
Job seekers and visitors to the public jobs board now read \"A Workrize client\" instead of the company's name, unless an admin has turned the name on for that client.
New
"A Workrize client" for candidates. On the jobs board, a job's own page, the job cards and a candidate's applications, candidates and signed-out visitors now read "A Workrize client" in place of the company's name. The company's logo, website and address are not shown to them either.
Admins choose who is named. On the admin Clients screen, each client has a new switch, Name shown to candidates, in its Account section. Turn it on once the client has agreed to be named, and candidates see the real name again. It is off for every client to start with.
Unchanged
Workrize staff, line managers, recruiters, clients and admins still see every company's real name everywhere.
Only an admin can change the switch. A client cannot turn it on for their own company.
v2.26.268
Approve, reject or ask your recruiter right from the card
On Shortlists and Interviews a client approves or rejects a candidate with a reason, changes a decision before the recruiter acts, or asks the recruiter a question.
New
Approve or reject from the card. If the decision is yours, the card has Approve and Reject. Reject asks for a reason first. It is the same decision you could already make from the candidate page.
Change. A decision shows what you decided and when, with a Change button. You can change it until your recruiter has acted on it. After that the card tells you the decision can no longer be changed.
Ask the recruiter. Type a question and it goes to your recruiter by name. They are told straight away, and it appears in the candidate's comments.
Waiting on a colleague. A card that someone else decides says Waiting on and their name. You can still ask the recruiter about it.
Waiting a while. A candidate who has waited five days or more is marked in marigold, so the longest waits stand out.
On a phone the buttons are large and sit in one column, so nothing scrolls sideways.
Good to know
Your recruiter sees your decisions as a notice in the app. Nothing is emailed to you or to anyone else about them.
Approving the last stage moves the candidate on to the offer, as it does from the candidate page.
v2.26.256
Change the status of Migrator duplicates in one go
After an import, tick the candidates that were already in the system and give them a new status from the Migrator result.
New
Change the status of candidates already in the system, from the import result. When the Migrator rejects rows because the phone number already belongs to a candidate, each of those rows now has a checkbox in Failure Details. Tick some of them, or use the box in the heading to select them all, then select Change candidate status, pick a status such as Assigned and select Apply.
Existing profiles only. The status is set on the profiles the phone numbers matched. No new candidate is created, so a search for the number still finds exactly one profile.
A clear result. A message says how many were updated and how many failed, and names the row of each one that failed, for example a candidate who is in Trash.
Live Application is kept. A candidate with a live application keeps Live Application if you choose Assigned.
Only admins see the checkboxes and the button.
v2.26.247
Vacancies, positions and branches share the record layout
Vacancy, position and branch pages now look like applications and candidates: who and where at the top, tabs in the middle, details in a side panel.
Changed
A vacancy shows its title, client, location and status at the top, with its vacancies, applicants and salary beside them. The categories, the created date and the target and opening dates are in the Vacancy details panel on the right; hide it to read the tabs wider.
The vacancy page no longer shrinks its header or the side navigation as you scroll.
The link at the top of a vacancy names the vacancy, not a reference number.
Positions and branches (client workspace) use the same layout, with a link back to their lists at the top. A position's dates are in a side panel; a branch's details stay in its Overview.
v2.26.242
Scheduled reports start switched off
Each scheduled report now has its own switch. It sends nothing until an admin turns it on, and a number that could not be calculated is never emailed as zero.
Improved
A switch for each scheduled report. Under Analytics → Report recipients, Scheduled reports lists every report, when it goes and to whom. Each starts off and sends nothing until you press Switch on. While a report is off, its card shows how many emails it would have sent.
No false "all clear". If a number in a report could not be calculated, that email is not sent that day. Before, it could read as zero or "Nothing needs action".
v2.26.252
Our privacy policy now explains usage analytics
The privacy policy says what we record about how Workrize is used, how long we keep it, and that it never leaves our systems.
Changed
Privacy policy: a new paragraph, Usage analytics, explains what we record about how Workrize is used (pages opened, that a search was made but not what was searched for, the steps of signing up), that the records hold ids rather than names, that we keep them for 13 months and then only weekly totals, and that they are never sold or shared with an analytics company.
v2.26.246
Applications and candidates share one layout
Every application shows who, where it stands and the one next thing to do in the same place, with stages and remarks in a side panel you can tuck away.
Changed
The next thing to do is one button at the top of an application: for example Submit to client for an admin, Schedule interview after it is submitted, or Call candidate for a recruiter. It asks for a reason or a joining date when the move needs one, as the status menu does.
Clients decide from the top of the application. When the current stage is yours, Approve and Reject are there. When it is a colleague's, it says who it is waiting on. Once decided, it shows the decision.
Stages and remarks sit in one side panel on the right, the same width on every record. Hide it with the button at its top to read more widely; it stays hidden on the next record until you show it again. On a smaller screen it opens from the Stages and remarks button.
The candidate profile has the same layout: the details, target jobs and tags are now on the right, and there is a link back to Candidates at the top.
Fixed
The links at the top of an application for clients went to pages that do not exist. They now go to your vacancies.
v2.26.250
A vacancy's applications on a board
Admins can see a vacancy's applications as cards in stage columns and move them by dragging, with Undo.
New
Board view on a vacancy's Applications tab (admins): switch from Table to Board to see every application as a card in its stage column (Matched, Screened, Submitted, Interviewed, Offered, Offer accepted, Joined, On hold, Exited), with how many are in each.
Each card shows how long the candidate has been in their current status, the next step, and a Call button. Click the name to open the application in a panel.
Move a card by dragging it to another column, or with its ⋯ menu, which lets you pick the exact status. Moving into Exited asks for the reason, and into Joined for the joining date, as the status menu does.
Undo for 10 seconds after a move, and longer while your pointer is on the message. Nobody is notified about a move until a little after those seconds pass, and not at all if you undo it.
Changed
Offer letter steps: an offer letter can be rolled out or backed out only from Interviewed / Selected (as before). The board and the application's next-step button no longer offer it from other statuses, where it used to fail.
v2.26.228
Product usage shows which views people use
A new panel on Product usage lists the views people open on the main lists, and how many people use each.
New
Most used views (Analytics → Product usage). See which views people open on Candidates, Applications, Vacancies and Calls, how often, and by how many people. Built-in views such as Never called are named; saved views are counted together, without their names. The panel fills up once the view tabs arrive on the lists.
v2.26.241
Calling numbers on the same list as everything else
Telephony → Numbers now shows how many numbers the pool holds beside its title, on the same table as every list.
Improved
Calling numbers now sit on the same table as every other list, with the count beside the title. You still change a number's recruiter or daily cap, and retire or restore it, right in its row. Retiring now asks for the reason inside the row itself.
v2.26.237
Every list shows how many it holds
List pages now show the number of records beside their title, the same number as the table below.
Improved
The count beside the title. Every list now shows how many records it holds next to its heading, and it follows your filters, search and views. It is always the same number as the bottom of the table.
v2.26.240
Assessments, report templates and the approval queue on the same list
Three more lists now look and work like Candidates: the count beside the title, rows per page, and cards on a phone.
Improved
Assessments, an organisation's Report templates and the admin Approval queue now sit on the same table as every other list: the count beside the title, a choice of rows per page, row height, and cards on a phone.
v2.26.231
Export a whole list to Excel, with the columns you see
Export all writes every row the filters match, on every page, with your visible columns in their order.
New
Export all on Candidates, Applications, Vacancies, Calls and a vacancy's applicants. The file holds every row the filters match, not only the page on screen, with the columns you see, in the same order. Hide a column to leave it out.
Your rows only. A client's file holds only their own organisation's applicants; a recruiter's holds their own candidates.
Up to 5,000 rows at once. For a bigger list, Workrize says how many rows match and asks you to narrow the filters; larger exports are coming.
v2.26.233
Deactivating someone signs them out at once
A deactivated user is signed out everywhere immediately, and admins can deactivate several users at once.
Fixed
Deactivating a user signs them out at once. Before, someone you deactivated could keep using Workrize in a browser where they were already signed in, for up to a week. Now they are signed out everywhere immediately. Reactivating them does not bring that session back; they sign in again.
New
Deactivate several users at once. On Users, tick the people and choose Deactivate in the bar at the bottom. You have a few seconds to Undo. You cannot deactivate yourself.
v2.26.238
The same list page everywhere
Your vacancies, your applications and the organisations list now show their count beside the title, like every other list.
Improved
Vacancies for you and My applications show how many there are beside the title, the same way every list does. The separate count line under the title is gone.
Clearer titles. The organisations page is titled Organizations, and the vacancies list for line managers and recruiters is titled Vacancies, matching the menu.
v2.26.206
Report recipients
Admins choose who receives the reports that go to the operations head, the telephony admin and the sourcing leads.
New
Analytics → Report recipients keeps the named lists that some scheduled reports go to:
the operations head;
the telephony admin;
the sourcing leads.
Each list says what it receives. Add or remove a person with the picker, and the change applies from the next send. Only Workrize staff can be added, and someone who is later deactivated stops receiving reports.
v2.26.202
Product usage
Who uses the product, where new candidates stop, and which numbers people open, for admins.
New
Analytics → Product usage shows:
weekly active users, by role, and active users over time;
clients using the portal;
new candidates who apply: of the candidates who signed up themselves, how many verified their email, completed their profile and applied, and where the rest stopped;
the numbers people open most.
Every number opens the list of people behind it.
Changed
Active client users now counts client users who viewed a page in the last 7 days, the same "active" as the rest of Product usage. Before, it read the last time the app recorded them as active.
v2.26.208
The monthly management MIS by email
On the first working day of each month, admins get last month's numbers against the month before.
New
On the first working day of each month (the 1st, or the 2nd when the 1st is a Sunday), admins get the Monthly MIS at 08:00 (India time) by email. It compares last month with the month before:
fill rate, for all vacancies and for qualified ones;
time to fill;
active clients;
open positions and supply cover as of that morning.
Under Needs attention it lists the positions past target or stalled and the categories short of candidates. The numbers are the Executive overview's, and the email links there, with an Excel file whose first row states the month.
v2.26.216
Errors you can report in one step
When something fails, the message says so plainly, offers Retry, and gives a reference you can copy.
Changed
When a list or page cannot load, it now says so plainly, for example "We couldn't load your vacancies", with Retry. Before, a failed list could look empty.
Each error shows a short reference ("Ref") with a copy button. Report a problem opens with that reference already filled in, so we can find exactly what went wrong.
While a page loads, you see its outline instead of a spinning circle.
v2.26.217
Empty lists that tell you why
A list filtered to nothing offers Clear filters; a list with nothing yet offers to add the first one; refreshing keeps rows on screen.
Changed
When your filters or search hide everything, the list says so and offers Clear filters, which brings the rows back.
When a list is truly empty, it says so in one sentence and, if you are allowed to, offers to add the first one (for example Add vacancy).
Sorting, filtering or changing page keeps the current rows on screen, slightly faded, until the new ones arrive, instead of flashing an empty grid and a spinner.
v2.26.200
Your hiring at a glance
Your dashboard now shows what is waiting on you and how your hiring is going.
New
Waiting on you. The top of your organisation's Dashboard counts the candidates waiting on a decision from you: those shared with you, and those you have interviewed. The count is split into Over 5 days and Under 5 days, and anything over 5 days is marked in marigold. Select either part to see who is waiting.
Coming up. Offers awaiting acceptance, with a count you can open. Interviews in the next 7 days say "Waiting for data" until interview dates are recorded.
Open positions and the number of vacancies they sit in, as of today.
Your hiring funnel, for the period you choose (the last 90 days by default): Shared with you → Interviewed → Offered → Joined. Each step opens the candidates in it. Beside it, Time to fill.
Your recruiters. The people in your own team and how many candidates each of them moved in the period.
Every number opens a list of names. You only ever see your own organisation: if you belong to two, the dashboard shows the one you have open, and the Client chip at the top names it.
Changed
Analytics is no longer a separate item in the sidebar. Its numbers are on the Dashboard, and an old Analytics link now opens the Dashboard.
v2.26.218
Calmer loading
Pages show their outline while they load; spinning circles appear only on the button you pressed.
Changed
While a page or panel loads, you see grey outlines where the content will appear, instead of a spinning circle in the middle of the screen.
A spinning circle now appears only on the button you pressed, while it works.
Saves and uploads in progress show a small pulsing dot next to their status.
v2.26.194
Joining dates and 30/90-day retention checks
Marking a candidate as joined now asks for the joining date, and every joiner is checked at 30 and 90 days.
New
Joining date. Moving an application to Joined now asks when the candidate joined. The date is required and cannot be in the future.
Retention checks. At 30 and 90 days after a candidate joins, their owner finds a retention check at the top of the Call queue: is the joiner still in role? Call them, then answer In role or Left with their last day. If the owner is no longer active, the check goes to their line manager.
The client is asked only when we cannot reach the joiner. After three calls over five working days without reaching the joiner, the client sees "Is (the joiner’s name) still with you?" on their dashboard, and whoever answers first closes the check. Clients also see each joiner's 30- and 90-day status there. We never ask clients by email.
A Left answer records that the candidate left, and the retention numbers count it.
v2.26.195
Online tests
Candidates can take an assessment online from a private link, and their score is recorded automatically.
New
Write the questions. Under Assessments, the new Questions button on a module holds its online test: multiple-choice questions, each with 2 to 6 options and one correct answer. Admins write them for the Workrize catalogue, and clients for their organisation's own modules. Recruiters never see the answers.
Invite a candidate. On a candidate's Assessments tab, Online tests → Invite to a test gives you a private link to send them. It works for 7 days. New link replaces a lost or expired link, and Cancel withdraws the test.
The candidate takes it without signing in. Their answers save as they choose them, and they press Submit when done. The test is marked automatically, and the score appears in their results as recorded by Online test, reading Passed or Not passed against the module's pass mark.
You can see where each test stands: invited, started (with how many questions are answered), completed with the score, cancelled, or expired, each with its time.
v2.26.198
Executive overview
Admins now land on an Executive overview: are we filling positions, and where is delivery at risk?
New
Signing in as an admin now opens the Executive overview. It answers one question: are we filling positions, and where is delivery at risk? Applications is one click away in the sidebar, as before.
Right now:
Open positions, split into on track, stalled and past target, with the number of vacancies.
Supply cover: active candidates per open position, and a bar per category against a target of 3. A category below 3 is red with ⚠; select it to see its active candidates.
The period:
Fill rate;
Speed (time to submit and to fill);
Calling (connect rate and screens per recruiter per day);
the Hiring funnel from Matched to Joined;
90-day retention.
Below:
Demand flow: positions opened and closed through the period.
Fill rate by client: the ten clients with the most open positions; under 25% is red.
Vacancies at risk: past target or stalled.
Every number opens the records behind it.
Changed
Supply cover is now active candidates per open position, overall and per category. A category counts as short below 3 per position (it used to be below 1).
v2.26.193
Dashboard fixes: no made-up trends, hires by joining date
Dashboard cards no longer show a trend the data did not produce, and a client's Hires count candidates by the date they joined.
Fixed
No made-up trends. On the recruiter dashboard, Lead Conversion and Successful Hires showed a trend percentage that was invented, not calculated. They now show no trend. Cards with a real comparison, such as Assigned Leads, keep theirs.
Hires are counted by joining date. On a client's dashboard, Hires now counts candidates who joined in the selected period, by the date they joined. Before, it counted joined candidates whose application was created in the period, so a candidate who applied in July and joined in September did not count as a September hire.
v2.26.179
Every vacancy has its own target date
A vacancy now carries its own target date, prefilled from the position, plus the date the client opened the role.
New
A target date per vacancy. Each vacancy has its own target date, shown at the top of the vacancy. A new vacancy takes its position's target hire date. Admins and the vacancy's client can change it there, and the position's date stays as it was. When the date passes with positions still open, the vacancy counts as Past target in Analytics.
Client opened. You can also record when the client opened the role on their side. It is for reference only: time to fill still counts from when the vacancy was approved.
v2.26.180
Closing a vacancy early asks why
Closing or archiving a vacancy with positions still unfilled now asks for a reason, and Analytics splits cancellations by cause.
New
A reason when a vacancy ends early. When you close or archive a vacancy before all its positions are filled, Workrize asks why. Clients choose from the client reasons (the client withdrew the role, a budget cut, filled internally or elsewhere, the role changed, the client stopped responding). Admins also see the delivery reasons (no suitable candidates, candidates declined offers, SLA missed). Other needs a short note. A vacancy closed with every position filled, or a pause, asks nothing.
Cancellations by cause in Analytics. The Cancellation rate card on the Vacancies section now splits cancelled positions into client causes, delivery causes, other and not recorded (closed before reasons existed). Open any part to see those vacancies with their reasons.
Improved
A fairer qualified fill rate.Fill rate, qualified now leaves out only the positions the client cancelled. Positions cancelled for delivery reasons count as unfilled.
v2.26.184
Industry, account manager and status for every client
Admins can now record each client organisation's industry, account manager and status.
New
Account details on every client. An organisation's Organization settings now has an Account section:
Industry, from the Industry categories.
Account manager, an admin, staff member or line manager at Workrize.
Status: Active, Paused or Churned.
Workrize admins set these. Clients see them read-only. Line managers and staff can now see the client organisations they manage.
v2.26.181
Every candidate records where they came from
Each new candidate now records how they joined: sign-up, a friend's invite, added by a recruiter or admin, or a bulk import.
New
Candidate source. A candidate's profile now shows where they came from:
Self sign-up: they registered themselves.
Candidate invite: they signed up through another candidate's invite link.
Recruiter-added or Admin-added: someone on the team added them.
Bulk import: they came in through the Migrator.
It is recorded once, when the candidate is created, and cannot be changed. For candidates who joined before today, Workrize filled it in from what it already knew and marks it (inferred). Where nothing was known it reads Unknown.
This is the groundwork for comparing conversion by source in Analytics.
v2.26.175
Rejecting at an interview stage asks why
Rejecting a candidate at an evaluation stage now takes a reason from a short list, and the stage shows it.
New
Say why at the stage. On an application's Evaluation Stages panel, Reject now asks for a reason:
experience short
skills gap
salary mismatch
notice period
role filled
position on hold
no-show
other
Other asks you to write it, and the note is saved on the stage.
The stage shows it. A rejected stage reads, for example, Rejected · Skills gap, so the recruiter knows what to do next without asking.
Rejecting a stage still leaves the application's status to the recruiter. Candidates never see these reasons.
v2.26.176
Open positions by health, and vacancies in risk order
The Open positions card now splits by on track, stalled and past target, and vacancy lists put the ones at risk first.
Changed
Open positions by health. The Open positions card on Analytics now splits into on track, stalled, past target and paused, not by vacancy status. Select any part to see the vacancies behind it.
At-risk vacancies first. The lists behind Open positions and Open vacancies are ordered by risk:
past target, most days past first;
stalled, longest since the last submission first;
on track, oldest first;
paused.
v2.26.159
Reports show multiple-choice answers as words
A multiple-choice answer in a report now reads Bachelor, not [\"Bachelor\"].
Fixed
Multiple-choice answers in reports read as plain words. A column showing a
multiple-choice answer used to print it with brackets and quotes, for example
["Bachelor"], in the report preview, the Excel file and the report email sent
to clients. It now shows Bachelor. Several options are separated by commas
(Hindi, English), in the order the candidate chose them, and a range answer
shows as 3 – 5.
v2.26.161
New colours and type across the app
Workrize now uses one calm set of colours and two new typefaces, with text that is never smaller than 13px.
Changed
New colours everywhere. The app now uses one set of colours: a soft grey page,
white cards, teal for actions and marigold for what stands out. Every text colour
meets the contrast standard for easy reading.
New typefaces. Titles use Bricolage Grotesque and text uses IBM Plex Sans.
Numbers in tables still line up in IBM Plex Mono.
Nothing smaller than 13px. The smallest text in the app is now 13px, so dense
tables are easier to read.
Also
The candidate trail now uses the same light background for every application
group, separated by its heading.
v2.26.158
A deleted candidate account can be recovered for 15 days
When candidates delete their own account it now goes to Candidate Trash first, so it can be restored on request; it is erased for good after 15 days.
Changed
Deleting your own account is no longer instant and final. When a candidate
selects Delete my account, their profile, CV, answers and applications are
hidden from everyone and they are signed out. For the next 15 days the account
can still be recovered: the candidate emails operations@coldpressery.in and an
admin restores it. After 15 days it is erased for good.
The page shown after deleting says the exact date and time until which it can be
recovered, with an Email us to recover it button. Sign up again is gone from
that page: the email address stays with the deleted account until it is erased.
Signing in to a deleted account with the right password now says it was deleted and
until when it can be recovered, instead of "Invalid email or password". Signing up
again or using Forgot password with that email sends the same explanation by email.
A candidate deleted by an admin still sees only "this account is not active" —
the recovery message is for people who deleted their own account.
For admins: these candidates appear in Candidate Trash, marked
The candidate (own account), and the Deleted by filter has one option for all of
them. Before restoring, confirm the request is really from them — call the phone
number on the account — then use Restore as for any other deleted candidate.
v2.26.152
Telephony Members shows when a number's owner differs from digidonar
Admin → Telephony → Members now compares who owns each calling number in Workrize with digidonar's setup and its own call records, and says which side to fix.
New
Number ownership. At the top of Admin → Telephony → Members, each calling
number is listed with its owner in Workrize next to the digidonar call group on
it. A row is flagged when the two disagree — for example a number pinned to a
recruiter with no call group in digidonar, a call group with no members, or a
recruiter whose phone is not a digidonar member. Every flag says whether to fix
it in Workrize or in the digidonar portal.
Call evidence. Below it, the last seven days of outbound calls are checked
against digidonar's own call records. If a recruiter's call rang someone
else's phone, it is shown by name (for example "DID …1234 rang Priya's phone
for Arjun's call") with how many calls and when it last happened. This is the problem that
stopped outbound calls on 2 October.
If digidonar cannot be reached, or there are no calls to check, the screen says
so — it never shows that as all clear.
What still needs a look in the portal. digidonar does not let us read a
member's Assign Did or who is inside each call group, so check those by eye
after changing members or groups in the portal.
v2.26.153
Labelled controls and easier-to-read text
Sidebar buttons, the notification bell, the account menu and several filter boxes now announce what they do to a screen reader, and grey and red text is darker so it is easier to read.
Changed
Easier-to-read text. The grey used for captions, hints and secondary labels
is darker, and so is the red used for delete and error actions. Both now meet the
WCAG AA contrast level on every background they appear on, including the pale
purple highlights. The small .admin / .recruiter tag beside the logo and the
role under your name in the sidebar are no longer faded.
Fixed
Screen readers can tell what the sidebar buttons do. The button that
collapses or expands the sidebar, the mobile close button, the collapsed logo,
the notification bell and your account menu are now proper labelled buttons. The
bell also says how many notifications are unread, and the account menu names
you.
Keyboard access. The collapsed logo and the account menu can be reached
with the Tab key: Enter on the logo expands the sidebar, and on the
account menu opens it.
Unlabelled filters. The status and type filters on the automation screens,
the vacancy-group pickers and the client picker are now announced with a name
instead of an empty button.
Impersonation banner. The name of the person you are impersonating is no
longer faded and is easier to read.
v2.26.143
One applicant count per vacancy, and positions count openings like branches
A vacancy's applicant count now matches everywhere you see it, and the Positions list leaves out archived vacancies.
Fixed
A vacancy shows the same number of applicants everywhere. For clients,
the applicant count beside each vacancy on the Dashboard and in the
vacancies list included candidates still waiting for review by our team, so it
could read 40 while the vacancy itself said 37. Every count now uses the same
rule as the vacancy's Applications tab: it counts the applications you can
open. The same applies to the Applications Received, Pipeline by Status,
Applications Over Time and Vacancies Overview analytics, and to the counts beside the
filter options on a vacancy's applications. Recruiters and line managers see
the count of the applications in their own list; our team still sees every
application.
Positions count openings the way branches do. The Positions list's count
(now called Total Openings, as on the Branches list) left out closed
vacancies but still counted archived ones. It now counts every vacancy that is
not Closed or Archived, so a position and a branch with the same
vacancies show the same number.
v2.26.144
A position's applicant funnel counts the applicants you can see
For clients, the funnel on a position now leaves out candidates still waiting for review by our team.
Fixed
A position's funnel matches its applications. For clients, the
Applied step of the funnel on a position's overview included candidates
still waiting for review by our team, so it could read higher than the
applications you can open. It now counts only those, the same rule every other
applicant count follows since the last update.
v2.26.139
Pickers search everything, and keep what you saved
Choosing a position, branch, organization, member, evaluator, hiring manager, category or recruiter now searches the whole list, and a saved choice always shows by name.
Fixed
A vacancy can be created for any position. When you create vacancies, the
Position and Branch lists search every position and branch in the
organization. Picking a position you found by searching now fills in the title,
job description and questions, and the branch list works for it. Before, a
position beyond the first ten could leave the form unable to create the vacancy.
Changing a stage's evaluator sticks. On Stages & Config, the
Evaluator list searches all of the organization's members. Choosing someone
beyond the first ten used to look saved while the stage kept its old evaluator.
Now the person you pick is the person assigned.
Saved choices show their name. A hiring manager, report-template position
or branch, question category, or culture-fit organization that was saved
earlier now shows its name when you reopen the form, wherever it sits in the
list. Before, it could appear blank.
Report templates keep their mapping. A report template's default mapping
used to lose a saved position or branch outside the first 200 the next time you
changed any of its tags. Every saved position and branch is kept now.
The breadcrumb names your organization. Inside an organization, the
breadcrumb at the top of the page shows its name. It used to leave the name out
for organizations beyond the first ten in your list.
Changed
Lists of people and organizations are searchable. Type part of a name to
find any:
member, when you pick a position's Hiring manager, a stage
Evaluator, or a report recipient from + next to To, Cc or
Bcc;
organization, when an admin picks the organization for a new position or
vacancy, for Client Automation, for an assessment module's Belongs to,
or for a culture-fit question;
recruiter, when you pin a calling number;
question category, in the question form.
The evaluator list only offers people from the organization you are working in.
v2.26.141
Long lists of jobs, workspaces and applications now have page numbers
The jobs board, your matching vacancies, your applications and the workspace list stopped at ten items with no way to see the rest. They now show a total and numbered pages.
Fixed
Every item is reachable. Four lists showed only their first ten items and
gave no sign that there were more: the public jobs board, Jobs for a signed-in
candidate, My Applications, and the Organizations workspace list. Each
now shows how many there are, such as 48 open roles, and page numbers
underneath.
Pages you can come back to. The page you are on is part of the link, so
Back returns you to it and a shared link opens the same page. A new search
starts again from page 1.
The jobs boards and the workspace list show 12 to a page; My Applications
shows 10.
v2.26.142
Branch, dashboard and vacancy counts show the real totals
A branch's openings, your dashboard's live vacancies and a vacancy's applicants are now counted in full, instead of stopping at 100, 50 or 10.
Fixed
A branch shows all of its openings. On a branch's Overview, Total
Openings stopped at 100 and Vacancy Total added up only those 100
vacancies. Both are now counted across every vacancy of the branch.
One meaning of "opening", on both branch screens. An opening is any
vacancy that is not Closed or Archived: drafts, approved, live and
paused vacancies all count. The Total Openings column on the Branches
list (it was called Open Jobs) and the number on the branch's own page now
use that same rule, so they always agree. Before, the list left out only
closed vacancies, and the branch page's rule depended on who was looking.
Your dashboard counts every live vacancy. The number next to Active job
postings stopped at 50. It now shows how many live vacancies the
organization has; the list beneath it still shows the first six.
A vacancy's header counts every applicant you can see.Applicants at
the top of a vacancy stopped at 10. It now shows the full number. As before, a
client's count leaves out candidates still waiting for review by our team.
v2.26.135
Awaiting your response counts every candidate
The Awaiting your response panel on your organization's dashboard now counts, filters and pages through every candidate waiting on you, not just the first 200.
Fixed
The counts are the real totals. On your organization's Dashboard, the
Awaiting your response panel looked at no more than the 200 candidates who
had been waiting longest. With more than 200 waiting, Candidates waiting
and Waiting 3+ days stopped at 200, and Vacancies involved left out
any vacancy whose candidates were all newer than that. The tiles now count
everyone waiting on you.
Every vacancy and status can be picked. The vacancy and status filters
list every vacancy and status in the queue, each with how many candidates it
holds, and choosing one shows all of that vacancy's or status's candidates.
The tiles above keep showing the whole queue whichever filter you choose.
Paging covers the whole list.Next and Previous now step through
every waiting candidate, oldest first, ten at a time.
v2.26.129
Application updates and the admin queue notice arrive again
Some candidates missed the email and bell notice when their application status changed, and admins never got the in-app notice for the daily admin queue. Both now arrive.
Fixed
Candidates hear about every status change. When the status of your
application changes, you get an email and a notice in the bell. Some of these
went missing, so a status could change without you hearing about it. They now
arrive every time.
Recruiters see new leads in the bell. The notice that a lead has been
assigned to you was also sometimes lost. It now arrives.
Admins get the admin queue notice. Every day, admins get an email listing
the applications that are waiting on an admin. The matching notice in the bell,
Admin action queue, never appeared. It now appears alongside the email.
v2.26.125
Date filters include their last day
A date range filter now includes the whole of its last day, and picking a single day shows that day.
Fixed
A date range now includes its last day. In every table with a date filter,
picking a range such as 1 to 5 September left out 5 September, and picking
a single day showed nothing at all. Both now include the whole of the last day.
v2.26.124
Permission checks on application changes and remarks
Changing an application, approving or rejecting a stage, and adding or reading remarks now all check that the application is one you may work on.
Fixed
Every change to an application checks who may make it. Some ways of
changing an application checked less than others. They now all follow the
same rules:
Clients can change an application's status, and approve or reject its
stages, only for their own organisation's vacancies.
Recruiters and line managers can change applications of the candidates
whose lead they own.
Changing several applications at once follows the same rules as changing
one. If any selected application is one you may not change, none of them
change.
A change outside these rules is refused with Access Denied.
Remarks follow what you can see. You can add a remark to, and read the
remarks on, only an application or candidate you are able to open.
Nothing changes for work you were already allowed to do.
v2.26.111
Filter a branch's jobs
The Jobs tab on a branch now has filters for title, status, vacancies and posted date.
Improved
You can now filter a branch's jobs. Open Branches, select a branch and
go to the Jobs tab. Each column heading has a filter:
Job Title: type part of a title.
Status: pick one or more statuses. Each one shows how many of this
branch's jobs have it, such as Live (2).
Vacancies: set a minimum, a maximum or both.
Posted On: pick a date range.
The filters only ever narrow the jobs of the branch you have open. Until now
the tab listed every job with no way to narrow it.
v2.26.91
Choose which vacancies appear on the public jobs board
Vacancies are private until you make them public, one at a time, for a whole organisation, or for everything.
New
You decide what appears on the public jobs board. The board anyone can see
without signing in now shows only the vacancies someone has chosen. Nothing is
public by default.
One vacancy: switch Public on in the vacancy list, or next to the
status at the top of a vacancy. Clients, admins, recruiters and line managers
can do this.
A whole organisation: turn on Show all of this organisation's vacancies
publicly in the organisation's settings (clients), or on the Vacancies page
(admins).
Everything: admins can turn on Show every vacancy publicly on the
Vacancies page.
Only live vacancies ever appear on the board.
Fixed
Switches are visible again. On/off switches across Workrize, including the
automation settings, were drawn without colour, so you couldn't tell whether
they were on. They now show clearly: purple for on, grey for off.
v2.26.99
Filter candidates by assessment score
Show only candidates whose latest score in a skill is at least the percentage you choose.
New
Filter by assessment score. On the candidate list, and on a vacancy's
applicants, choose Assessment score, pick a module, and set a minimum
percentage (for example Excel – Intermediate, at least 70%).
It uses each candidate's most recent result in that module. An older,
higher score that a later test replaced doesn't count.
Candidates with no result in the module are left out.
Clients can filter on the Workrize catalogue and their own organisation's
modules.
v2.26.96
Add your education and work experience
Your profile now has a place for where you studied and where you've worked, which employers see.
New
Candidates: your profile has a new Education & experience tab. Add the
jobs you've done and the qualifications you hold, put the most important first,
and edit them any time. Employers see them on your profile, and they're what
your resume will be built from.
Staff and clients: a candidate's page has a new Education & Experience
tab showing what they've entered. It's separate from Employment History,
which records placements made through Workrize.
v2.26.86
Create your own account, and reset a forgotten password
Candidates can now sign up for themselves, and anyone can reset a forgotten password from the sign-in page.
New
Candidates can create their own account. Choose Create a free account on
the candidate sign-in page, or Register Profile on the For Candidates page.
Enter your name, email, mobile number and a password, and accept the privacy
policy. We email you a link; open it to confirm your email and you're signed
straight in.
Forgot your password? Every sign-in page now has a Forgot password?
link. Enter your email and we'll send a link to choose a new one. The link works
once and expires after 24 hours. Choosing a new password signs you out
everywhere else.
If a recruiter already added you
If one of our recruiters created your profile, you don't need to start again.
Sign up with the same email, or use Forgot password?, and we'll email
you a link to set your password. Your existing profile and applications are all
still there.
Good to know
A confirmation link works once and expires after 48 hours. If it has expired,
the page lets you ask for a new one, and so does the sign-in page if you try
to sign in before confirming.
Each mobile number can belong to only one candidate account. If yours is
already registered, sign in, or reset your password.
v2.26.98
Assessments: record a candidate's score
Record the score a candidate got in a test. Candidates see their scores on their profile.
New
Record assessment scores. Open a candidate (or an application) and go to
the new Assessments tab. Choose Record a result, pick the module, and
enter the score, what it was out of, and the date of the test.
Clients record scores for their own organisation's modules, for
candidates who applied to them. Scores for your modules are visible only to
you, Workrize staff and the candidate.
Earlier results are kept. The latest score for each module is shown,
with earlier ones underneath.
Candidates see their scores, and any note you add, under Profile →
Assessments. They don't see who recorded them.
v2.26.97
Assessments: set up the skills candidates are assessed on
A new Assessments page lists the skills and levels candidates can be assessed on, from the Workrize catalogue and your own organisation.
New
Assessments. A new Assessments page (admins: in the sidebar; clients:
under your organisation) lists the skills candidates can be assessed on, each at
a level (Basic, Intermediate or Advanced), for example Excel – Intermediate.
The Workrize catalogue is available to every organisation. Admins manage it.
Your own modules: clients can add assessments only their organisation
uses. Other organisations never see them.
Modules are archived rather than deleted, so past results stay meaningful.
Next: recording the score a candidate got in an offline test against these
modules.
v2.26.78
The unmapped-vacancy warning now means something
The count and the list finally agree, and both show only vacancies that are actually being skipped.
Fixed
The count and the list agree. The Automation overview counted only live
vacancies with no email group, while the Email groups panel listed every
ungrouped job — including drafts, closed and archived ones. You could see a
warning for 3 beside a list of 40. Both now ask the same question.
Only vacancies that are actually being skipped are shown. A vacancy counts
as unmapped when all three are true: it is live, it has no email group,
and at least one application is waiting on the client. A live vacancy with
nobody waiting is no longer flagged — nothing was being skipped for it, so
there was nothing to fix, and it was crowding out the ones that mattered.
The list on the Email groups panel is sorted by vacancy name, since it is
a worklist rather than a count.
Automatic client emails remain switched off, so nothing is being skipped today.
This matters for whoever turns them back on.
v2.26.32
Add, cap and retire the numbers calls go out from
Admin → Telephony → Numbers manages the calling-number pool; the usage dashboard's 'Consider retiring' verdict now has a Retire action beside it.
New
Admin → Telephony → Numbers. Add a calling number with a label and a
daily cap, change the cap inline, retire a number that has stopped
connecting (with a reason that stays on the record), and restore one that
recovered. Today's attempts show against each cap.
"Consider retiring" can now retire. On the usage dashboard, a number the
decay check flags has a Retire action beside the verdict. Retired numbers
keep their history.
Until you add a second number, calls keep going out from the default number
as before.
v2.26.28
A candidate's profile edits stay in their lane, and the badge says who
Candidates can edit their own profile but no longer their pipeline status, rating or do-not-contact flag; the do-not-contact badge and last-call pill now say who set them.
Fixed
Candidates edit their profile, not their pipeline. Saving your own
profile could previously also change your status, rating or do-not-contact
flag. Those fields are now refused for candidates with a clear message
naming them; name, contact details, address and categories save as before.
The do-not-contact badge says who set it. Hover the badge on a
candidate to see the reason, when it was set, and by whom. The last-call
pill names who made the most recent attempt.
A notification for a user who no longer exists is dropped, rather than
failing noisily on the way out.
v2.26.14
Clients can call, and see the calls made for them
A client placing a call now has a phone that can answer it, and sees the contact history for their own vacancies.
Fixed
A call you place now has somewhere to ring. The phone panel is available
on your workspace, as it already was for the recruitment team. Without it a
call could be placed but never connected.
Added
You can see the contact history for your own vacancies — the calls made on
your behalf, when they happened and how they went, on the candidate's page.
You will not see the wider sourcing activity the recruitment team carries out
across other clients, or notes they log by hand. Only calls made in the
context of your own applications appear.
Call recordings remain unavailable to clients. Recordings can carry salary
and personal detail, so playback stays with the recruitment team.
v2.22.5
City, state and ZIP filters work again on candidate lists
The location filter dropdowns came up empty as soon as any other filter or search was applied.
Fixed
Location filter options were empty once you filtered or searched. On the
candidate lists, the City, State and ZIP dropdowns loaded fine on a clean
screen but came up empty the moment any other filter or a search term was
applied — so narrowing a list made those filters unusable. The same problem
affected the client filter options on the applications screens. Both now
populate correctly, and the counts respect whatever else you have filtered by.
v2.22.4
Filtering applications by client works again
Picking a client on the applications list showed an empty table instead of that client's applications.
Fixed
The Client filter on the applications list returned nothing. Choosing a
client filtered the table down to zero rows, with no error — so it looked like
that client simply had no applications. It now returns their applications
correctly. Sorting by Client is unchanged.
v2.22.2
Automation settings are easier to fill in — and tell you what went wrong
Recipient addresses no longer lose focus while typing, send times use a proper clock picker with AM/PM, and a rejected save now names the field that needs fixing.
Fixed
Typing a recipient address works normally again. On the automation email
groups screen, the address box lost focus after every single character, so you
had to click back into it to type the next one. It now keeps focus for the
whole address. The field also checks the address as you type, and no longer
clears what you typed if adding the recipient fails.
Send times now use a clock picker. "Send time for client emails" and
"Team digest send time" were plain text boxes that never said whether they
wanted a 12-hour or a 24-hour value — so 8:45 meant to be 8:45 PM was
rejected. Both now use your browser's time picker (with AM/PM), and each shows
the saved time in plain 12-hour form next to its timezone, for example
8:45 PM · Asia/Kolkata. Timezone is now chosen from a list instead of typed.
Save errors name the field. Saving invalid settings used to show only
"Invalid automation settings payload", with no clue which value was at fault.
Problems are now flagged on the field itself — and values outside the allowed
range are caught before saving, rather than coming back as an error.
Your unsaved edits stay put. Switching to another window and back while
editing automation settings could quietly discard changes you hadn't saved yet.
v2.22.0Highlight
Report templates can now be shared across every vacancy
Build a report once and use it on every vacancy in your organization, with tags that decide where it is suggested — instead of rebuilding the same columns for each role.
Added
Organization report templates. A report template can now belong to your
whole organization instead of a single vacancy. Build the columns once and the
template appears on every vacancy you open — no more rebuilding the same report
for each role, and no more copies that quietly drift apart.
Share an existing report. Any template you have already built on a vacancy
can be shared with the organization from its row in Report Templates. It
keeps working exactly where it is, and becomes available everywhere else too.
Suggested templates. When sharing a template you can tag it with the
positions, branches and job categories it is meant for. Matching vacancies list
it under Suggested for this vacancy, and everything else stays reachable
under All organization templates — tags decide what is recommended, never
what is allowed. Leave the tags empty and the template is suggested everywhere.
Copy to this vacancy. A shared template is one template: editing it updates
the report for every vacancy. When you need a one-off variation, Copy to this
vacancy makes an independent copy you can change freely.
Improved
Missing questions are now flagged. If a template refers to a question a
particular vacancy does not ask, the template is marked with a warning naming
the missing questions. Previously those columns simply came out blank with no
explanation.
Clearer templates list. Each row now shows whether a template belongs to
this vacancy or the whole organization, which vacancies it applies to, and how
many columns it has. Deleting a shared template now says plainly that it will
disappear from every vacancy.
Invalid report columns are caught when you save, not silently exported as
empty cells. Blank headings, duplicate column names and broken expressions are
now rejected with a message pointing at the column at fault.
v2.22.1
Report templates keep a history, and warn before things change underneath them
See every edit to a shared template and put back an earlier version, get told before deleting something a template depends on, and stop internal ids leaking into downloads.
Added
Every save is kept. Open the history on any report template to see who
changed it, when, and what changed — a rename, a column added or removed, tags
edited. Restoring an earlier version brings it back and is itself recorded, so
the trail is never rewritten. This matters most for shared templates: one
person's edit changes the report every vacancy exports, and now that is visible
and reversible.
Warnings before a delete changes your templates. Deleting a position,
branch or job category no longer quietly changes which vacancies your templates
apply to. The confirmation now tells you how many templates are tagged with it,
and specifically how many would start being suggested on every vacancy
because that was their only tag.
Improved
Renaming a question no longer empties a report column. Templates now
reference questions directly rather than by their wording, so you can rename a
question freely. Existing templates were converted automatically, and any the
conversion could not match keep working exactly as before. Two questions whose
titles differ only in capitalisation are also no longer confused for each other.
Template names must be unique where it matters — within a vacancy, and
within an organisation's shared templates. Two identical names in the same
picker were impossible to tell apart. A vacancy copy of a shared template can
still carry the same name, and repeated copies are numbered.
Cloning a vacancy now brings its report templates with it. Previously a
clone started with none.
Long template lists say so. If an organisation has more templates than the
list shows, it now says "showing N of M" instead of quietly stopping.
Fixed
Internal candidate ids no longer appear in the downloaded spreadsheet. They
were already removed from emailed reports but not from the download.
Report downloads no longer produce a broken filename when the template name
contains characters a file name cannot hold.
v2.21.2
Vacancy locations now always match the branch
The location shown for a vacancy is derived from its branch everywhere — the separate free-text location that could disagree with the Branch column is gone.
Fixed
One location per vacancy. Previously a vacancy carried a typed-in
location that could drift from its actual branch, so lists showed two
different locations for the same role. The location is now derived from the
branch itself (city and state, or the branch name), existing vacancies have
been corrected, and the vacancy list shows location only in the Branch
column. Vacancies without a branch simply show no location.
v2.21.4
Creating a position with a duplicate name now tells you why
Instead of a generic failure, you now get a clear message when a position name is already used in your organization.
Fixed
Clearer error when a position name is taken. Creating (or renaming) a
position with a name already used in your organization previously failed
with a generic "Failed to create position." It now explains that the name
already exists so you can pick a different one or reuse the existing
position — including names on closed positions that may be hidden from your
list.
Four fixes from pilot feedback — disambiguated job filters, working report-format question search, a real vacancy list on the client dashboard, and activity entries that name what changed.
Fixed
Applications: job filter no longer shows duplicate titles. Jobs that
share a title across locations now appear as "Title — Branch" in the
filter, and the applications table has a new Branch column so the
location is always visible in one place.
Vacancy report formats: your questions are back. The report-format
builder now lists every question that actually applies to the vacancy
(including auto-matched ones), and searching them works again.
Client dashboard shows your live vacancies. The "No active job
postings" message previously appeared even when vacancies existed; the
dashboard now lists your active postings with applicant counts and quick
links.
Activity log entries name what changed. Updates like "moved job to
live" now show which job (or candidate, user, vacancy…) they refer to, so
same-minute changes to different records are no longer indistinguishable.
v2.21.3
Candidate imports no longer drop rows over gender or date of birth
Bulk uploads now accept M/F gender values and read spreadsheet dates correctly, so rows that used to fail silently import — and imported birthdays are no longer wrong.
Fixed
"M" and "F" gender values now import. A spreadsheet using single letters
had those candidates rejected outright. Male, female and other spellings
(M, m, male, Male) are all accepted now; anything unrecognized is left
blank instead of failing the row.
Spreadsheet dates of birth are read correctly. Excel stores dates as
numbers internally, and the importer was reading that number as a raw
timestamp — so candidates who imported "successfully" were given a birth date
of 1 January 1970. Dates now convert properly, including DD/MM/YYYY,
YYYY-MM-DD and text forms like 12 Mar 1995.
An unreadable date no longer loses the whole candidate. A DOB cell the
importer can't understand now leaves the birth date blank and imports
everything else, rather than rejecting the entire row.
If you have run an import before this release, some candidates may already carry
an incorrect 1 January 1970 date of birth. Ask your administrator to run the
audit — the original date can be recovered exactly, so no re-upload is needed.
v2.21.3
Tables, cards and forms now stand out from the page
A product-wide contrast refresh: the page canvas is gently tinted while tables, cards and input fields sit on clearly bordered white surfaces.
Improved
You can see where things begin and end. Tables, cards, and editable
fields previously blended into the near-white page background. The canvas is
now softly tinted and every working surface — lists, editors, inputs — sits
on white with a visible border and subtle elevation, across the whole
product.
v2.21.2
Automation settings belong to the client company, not to one contact
Email automation is now configured per client organization — one set of settings, email groups and templates for the whole company, and screens name the company instead of one of its people.
Improved
Pick a company, not a person. The admin Client Automation page now
lists client organizations by name. It previously listed individual client
contacts, so you chose a person's name to configure a company — and a company
with two contacts appeared twice, each separately configurable.
One configuration per client company. Automation settings, email groups
and email templates now belong to the organization. Every vacancy the company
owns is covered, whoever on their side created it — before, a vacancy created
by a colleague fell outside the configured contact's settings and sat
permanently under the "unmapped vacancies" warning.
One email a day per client, guaranteed. The daily send now runs once per
client company. A company with several contacts could previously receive more
than one referral email on the same day.
"Client" columns show the company. The automation queues, the sent log and
the recruiter/admin digests now name the client organization instead of one of
its users.
Client admins can manage their own automation. A client added to an
organization as an admin (rather than the person who originally created it)
can now open its automation settings; previously they were refused.
The automation section is reorganized into focused tabs, admins can enable clients directly, queues are paginated and filterable, and follow-up emails no longer pile into one thread.
Improved
One page, one purpose. Email automation now has focused tabs: Overview,
Approval queue, Logs, Clients, Templates and Settings — instead of one page
serving everything.
Enable a client without impersonating. The new Clients tab shows and
edits any client's automation settings and email groups directly; the
Overview shows at a glance whether automation is on, dry-run, and TAT state.
Queues you can actually work. The admin approval queue is paginated with
a status filter; the client portal's "Awaiting your response" adds a status
filter and pages of 10.
Fixed
Follow-up emails no longer collapse into one thread. Automation email
subjects now include the send date, so each day's referrals and follow-ups
arrive as their own conversation.
v2.20.7
Vacancy status menus now show only the changes you can make
Status dropdowns no longer offer moves the system will reject, so a status change never appears to silently revert.
Fixed
Status changes no longer appear to "revert." The vacancy status menus
(on the vacancies table and the vacancy page) previously offered every
status to everyone — including moves the system rejects, like taking a
draft vacancy straight to Live. The rejection looked like the status
changing back on its own. The menus now list only the moves your role can
actually make from the vacancy's current status.
Draft vacancies say what they need. A draft must be approved by an
admin before it can go live — the dialog now explains this instead of
offering Live and failing.
Clearer which vacancy you're changing. When several vacancies share a
title (one per branch), the status dialog now shows the branch and
organization alongside the title.
Improved
Roles that can't change a vacancy's status now see a simple status badge
instead of a dropdown that could never succeed.
v2.20.8
Deleting a user can no longer take their referred applications with them
Deleting a recruiter now asks you to hand their referred applications to someone else first — applications are never silently lost.
Fixed
Referred applications are protected on user deletion. Previously,
deleting a recruiter (or any user who had referred candidates) silently
deleted every application they had referred. Deletion is now blocked until
those referrals have a new owner.
Improved
Guided reassignment. When you delete a user who has referred
applications, a dialog opens to pick the person who takes over their
referrals. Once reassigned, the deletion completes automatically.
One line manager per recruiter. Assigning a recruiter who already
belongs to another line manager is now rejected with a clear message,
so follow-up routing (and the upcoming email automation) always knows
who a recruiter's manager is.
v2.20.6
Notification emails now come from operations@coldpressery.in
Application updates, referral status emails, and review assignments arrive from a dedicated operations address instead of the alerts address.
Improved
A clearer sender for the emails that matter to you. Application status
updates, referral notifications, review-assignment emails, and messages sent
from the app now arrive from operations@coldpressery.in. Replies to this
address are monitored.
System alert emails are unchanged and continue to come from the alerts
address.
If you filter or search your inbox by sender, update those rules to include
the new address. Checking your spam folder once after the change is a good
idea — new sender addresses can occasionally be filtered at first.
v2.19.5
Smoother sign-in, clearer impersonation, and refer shows what's missing
The brief error page after signing in is gone, the impersonation bar now names who you're acting as, and failed referrals list the exact unanswered questions.
Fixed
No more error flash after signing in. A "Cannot Proceed" page used to
appear for a moment after every successful sign-in (and when starting or
stopping impersonation) before the dashboard loaded. You now stay on the
"Checking permissions" screen until your dashboard is ready.
The impersonation bar shows the person's name. While impersonating, the
red bar now displays the name of the user you're acting as instead of their
internal ID.
Failed referrals list the missing questions again. When a referral can't
go through because mandatory assessment questions are unanswered, the dialog
once again lists each unanswered question below the message — answer them
inline and retry without leaving the dialog.
Duplicate phone numbers are called out during candidate onboarding. If
the phone number is already connected to another account, the form now says
so on the phone field instead of showing a generic error.
v2.19.1
Job location visible to recruiters and line managers
The Target Job picker now shows each job's location and client for recruiters and LMs, and public job listings show the salary period again.
Fixed
Recruiters and line managers can now see job locations. On a candidate's
profile, the Target Job dropdown showed only the job title for these two roles —
the location and client name were missing, making same-titled jobs impossible to
tell apart. Both now appear, matching what admins already saw.
The selected Target Job now shows its client. The job card on the candidate
profile displayed the job title and location but never the client's name, for any
role.
Public job listings show the salary period again. Job pages visible to
candidates and to logged-out visitors showed a salary range with no indication of
whether it was per year or per month.
v2.19.4
Job filter shows the selected job
Filtering candidates by job no longer leaves a blank chip — the selected job's title now shows, including for jobs that have since closed.
Fixed
The Job filter no longer shows a blank chip. Selecting a job in the candidate
filters left an empty box instead of the job's title, so you couldn't tell what you
had filtered by after reloading the page. This matches the owner-filter fix in the
previous release.
Closed jobs still show their title when filtered. A job that was selected and
has since been closed now displays normally instead of going blank.
v2.19.2
Assigning candidates: line managers, and unassigned candidates
Line managers can now assign candidates to themselves and to other LMs, and every candidate can be assigned from their profile — including ones that have no owner yet.
Fixed
Line managers can now be chosen as an assignee. The assignee picker only ever
offered admins and recruiters, so a line manager could not assign a candidate back
to themselves after passing it to a recruiter — nor to any other line manager.
Candidates with no owner can now be assigned from their profile. The lead-owner
control only appeared once a candidate already had an owner, so newly created,
bulk-imported, and previously unassigned candidates had no way to be assigned from
the profile screen. It now always appears, showing "Unassigned" until an owner is
set.
Filtering by owner now includes line managers. Candidates owned by an LM could
not be found using the Owner filter.
Changed
Recruiters can hand a candidate back, but no longer pass it on. A recruiter now
sees an "Unassign" action in place of the assignee picker, on both the candidate
list and the profile. Admins and line managers are unaffected.
v2.19.3
Clearer assignee picker
The assignee list now shows each person's role, selected owners no longer appear blank, and the lead-owner panel is bigger and easier to read.
Improved
The assignee list now shows each person's role. Since admins, recruiters and
line managers all appear in the same list, a name alone didn't tell you who you were
picking. Each entry now carries a Recruiter / Line Manager / Admin label.
The lead-owner panel is easier to read. It was a cramped single line of very
small text; it's now a clearly labelled block showing the owner's photo, name and
role.
Fixed
Owners you filter by no longer show as blank. Selecting an owner in the
candidate filters left an empty chip instead of their name.
v2.16.3
Client report emails send reliably
Fixed report emails failing to send when no CC/BCC was set, with clearer errors and a size guard for attached CVs.
Fixed
Report emails send without needing a CC/BCC. Sending a client report was
failing whenever the CC/BCC fields were left empty (the normal case). It now sends
correctly.
Clearer send errors. When a send does fail, the actual reason (e.g. an invalid
recipient or an oversized message) is now shown instead of a generic "Failed to send
email".
Attachment size guard. Attaching many CVs that together exceed the email size
limit now shows a clear "too large" message up front instead of silently failing.
v2.16.4
Refer and CV polish
The profile status updates right after you refer, converted CVs are validated, and a stale empty 'Role' field was removed.
Fixed
Profile status updates immediately after referring. Referring a candidate now
refreshes the open profile's status right away, instead of showing the old status
until you reopen the page.
Converted CVs are validated. When a Word CV is converted to PDF, the result is
now checked before the original is removed — a failed conversion no longer leaves a
broken, unopenable CV.
Removed an always-empty "Role" field on the application candidate tab (roles are
now handled via categories/tags, so it only ever said "Not specified").
v2.16.1
CV uploads and client report emails work again
Fixed the internal-server-error when uploading a candidate CV, and the client report email that was failing to send.
Fixed
Uploading a CV no longer errors. Adding or replacing a candidate's CV was returning
an "internal server error" (though the file was actually saved). Uploads now complete and
return the updated candidate cleanly.
Client report emails send again. Sending a report to a client was failing with
"failed to send email" because the mail relay credentials weren't being read under the
deployed configuration. Emails now go out.
v2.16.2
CV preview, download, and 'Include CVs' work again
Previewing a candidate CV no longer fails to connect, and attaching CVs to a client report now works.
Fixed
CV preview and download work. Previewing a CV was failing with a "refused to
connect" error because the file was served from an address the browser couldn't
reach. CVs now stream through the app itself, so preview and download work reliably.
"Include CVs" on client reports works. Attaching all candidate CVs to a report
email was reporting "No valid CVs downloaded" for the same reason. It now downloads
and attaches the CVs correctly.
v2.19.0
The candidate profile category picker scrolls to show every option
Fixed the category list on the candidate profile cutting off its lower options.
Fixed
See every category on the candidate profile. The category picker in the left
panel no longer cuts off its lower options — the panel now scrolls so you can reach
the full list (and the Target Job selector below it).
v2.12.0
Staff accounts can now sign in and use the app
The staff role now has a working home — a read-only view of Candidates, Applications and Referrals.
Fixed
Staff accounts work now. Previously a user with the staff role — which
is the default when creating a new user — could sign in but was met with a
"Permission Required" screen everywhere, with no page they could open. Staff
now land on a working workspace with a read-only view of Candidates,
Applications and Referrals. Management areas (users, positions,
vacancies, questions, migrator) stay admin-only, and staff cannot make
changes — it's a view-only role for now.
v2.18.0
Job locations in the picker, and no more cut-off category lists
The job dropdown now shows each job's location, and category pickers scroll fully instead of cutting off the last rows.
Fixed
Tell apart jobs with the same title. The job picker (including a candidate's
Target Job) now shows each job's location alongside the company, so two jobs with
the same title in different locations are easy to distinguish.
Category lists scroll fully. On the candidate profile (and other panels and
dialogs), the category picker no longer cuts off its last rows — you can scroll to
the end of the list.
Improved
Organizations with the same name now show their address in the picker to tell them
apart.
v2.11.0Highlight
Decimal salaries like 5.5 LPA, plus per-month and per-week ranges
Vacancy salaries accept decimals, the units are clearly LPA, and vacancies can now be posted with monthly or weekly pay.
Fixed
5.5 LPA works now. Vacancy salary fields accept decimals everywhere —
creating and editing — so ranges like ₹4.5–7.5 LPA save correctly.
Salary units are unambiguous. All salary fields are clearly labelled in
LPA (lakhs per annum) with matching examples, and typing a full rupee
amount (like 550000) into an LPA field is caught with a helpful message
instead of being saved as nonsense. Salary displays across vacancy pages,
cards and position lists now use one consistent format.
New
Post salaries per month or per week. When creating or editing a
vacancy, pick the salary period — Annual (LPA), Per month (₹) or Per week
(₹) — and the vacancy displays it accordingly, e.g. "₹40,000/month".
Existing vacancies stay annual.
v2.14.0
Attach files to report emails, plus a few rough edges smoothed
The paperclip and image buttons in the report email now actually attach files, and a dead Role filter was removed.
New
Attach files to a report email. In a job report's "Send via email", the
paperclip and image buttons now actually attach the file you pick (up to 10MB
each), alongside the auto-generated report and any CVs you include.
Fixed
Removed the dead "Role" filter from the Applications and Referrals tables —
it did nothing since job roles were reworked, and always showed a blank value.
Application review scrolls fully. Long candidate Q&A or CV content in the
application workbench no longer gets cut off at the bottom on wider screens.
Vacancy count input. Clearing the "vacancies" field when creating a job no
longer leaves the form in a confusing invalid state.
v2.15.0
The Migrator tells you what actually went wrong
Migrator upload errors now show the real reason, and a stuck import no longer spins forever.
Fixed
Clear migrator errors. When a data-migrator upload can't start, you now see
the actual reason (for example, a storage problem) instead of a generic
"Failed to start migration job." message — so it's obvious what to fix.
No more endless "Processing…". If an import stalls (for instance, the
background worker is down), the Migrator now stops waiting after a few minutes
and tells you, with the job id, instead of spinning indefinitely.
v2.16.0
CV preview works again, and you can refer candidates with an attached CV
Fixed CV/resume preview after Word-to-PDF conversion, and the Refer button no longer greys out when a CV is already attached.
Fixed
CV / resume preview works. After a Word (DOCX) CV was converted to PDF, preview
and download pointed at the wrong (removed) file and failed. They now open the
converted PDF correctly.
Refer isn't blocked when a CV is attached. The Refer button was greying out and
showing "needs a CV" even when a CV was clearly attached. It now recognises the
attached CV and lets you refer.
v2.13.0
Sign-in takes you where you were headed, and invite links fail gracefully
Deep links resume after login, logout fully signs you out, and expired invitations show a clear message.
Fixed
You land where you were going. If you open a link to a page while signed
out (or your session expires mid-session), signing in now takes you straight
to that page instead of dropping you on your dashboard. Applying to a job from
a public listing while logged out now returns you to the application.
Logout fully signs you out. Signing out while viewing the app as another
user (impersonation) now clears that state too, so the next person signing in
on the same browser starts clean.
Invitation links fail gracefully. Opening an expired or invalid invite now
shows a clear message immediately, instead of a set-up form that only rejects
you after you fill it in.
v2.17.0
Screening answers and category selections save reliably
Fixed edits reverting when you save quickly — screening answers and category pickers now keep your latest value.
Fixed
Screening answers stick. Editing a screening answer (like a number field) and
saving quickly no longer reverts to the old value — your latest entry is what's kept.
Category selections save reliably. Rapidly toggling job/candidate categories no
longer risks an earlier save overwriting a later one; the final selection wins.
v2.10.3
Vacancy pages scroll properly, and branches can be set when editing
The vacancy Description and Questions sections are fully scrollable again, branch-based vacancies no longer show as Remote, and the edit dialog gains a Preferred Branch field.
Fixed
You can scroll all the way down on vacancy pages again. On a vacancy's
Description and Questions sections, content below the first screen was cut
off with no way to scroll to it (and on some screens the page kept snapping
back to the top). The whole section now scrolls smoothly to the end.
Branch-based vacancies no longer show as "Remote". A vacancy created
with a branch (for example "Rest of Maharashtra") displayed "Remote" as its
location. The vacancy header now shows the branch name.
New
Preferred Branch in the vacancy edit dialog. Editing a vacancy now lets
you pick (or clear) its branch next to the Work Location field — previously
the branch could only be set at creation and never changed.
v2.9.0Highlight
Sign in with your Workrize email and password
Workrize now has its own sign-in — log in with an email and password, no third-party account needed. Admins create users and invite teammates by email.
New
Your own Workrize login. Sign in at /auth/login with your email and
password — Workrize now runs its own secure sign-in, so there's no separate
identity provider to deal with.
Invite teammates by email. Organization admins can invite members; the
invitee gets an email link, sets a password, and they're in.
Change your password in-app. Profile → Security lets you update your
password directly. Changing it signs you out of your other sessions.
Changed
Accounts are created by an admin. There's no public sign-up — an
administrator creates your account (or invites you to an organization), then
you sign in. If you can't sign in, ask your admin to set your password.
Staying signed in and real-time notifications work exactly as before.
v2.5.2
Documentation and job share links now work without signing in
Public docs and shared job links no longer bounce to sign-in, and the candidate apply page shows clear guidance instead of a blank screen.
Fixed
Documentation is public again. Opening Docs (including release notes) from the website no longer asks you to sign in.
Shared job links open for everyone. A job's share link (/job/…) previously redirected people without an account to the sign-in page — it now opens the job posting directly.
Candidate apply page no longer goes blank. If a job has expired or your profile can't be found, the apply page now tells you what happened and where to go next, instead of showing an empty screen.
Applying works again after the categories update. The apply page still checked the old "desired role" field (removed in the categories rework), which kept the Apply button permanently disabled. It now checks your desired categories, so completing your profile unlocks applying as expected.
The "Page not found" screen's button now matches the app's look.
v2.5.9
Consistent dates everywhere
Tables, feeds, and detail views now all use the same dd/mm/yyyy date format.
Improved
One date format across the app. Different screens used to mix styles — "June 12, 2026" headers above "12/06/2026" rows, or "Jun 12, 14:30" in one column and "12/06/2026 • 02:30 PM" in the next. Tables, activity feeds, and detail views now consistently use dd/mm/yyyy (with • hh:mm am/pm where time matters).
v2.5.8
Clearer lists, a labelled Process view, and real profile progress
Failed loads no longer look like empty lists, the candidate Process view got a proper header, charts show the rupee symbol fully, and profile completion shows an actual progress bar.
Improved
Failed loads no longer masquerade as empty lists. If a list (like Vacancies or Positions) fails to load, you now see "Couldn't load this list" with a Try again button — previously it silently showed "No results." Empty lists themselves also get a friendlier message.
Candidate Process view has a proper header. The screening view now says what it is, its empty message is readable and suggests enabling more filters, and the filter includes Module-based questions.
Profile Completion shows real progress. The candidate dashboard card now has a progress bar and tells you exactly what's missing (gender, date of birth, desired categories). It also no longer shows "Preferences missing" forever — it was checking a field that no longer exists after the categories rework.
Earnings chart shows ₹ properly. The currency prefix on the Y-axis was clipped ("NR 4L"); it now reads ₹4L.
Fixed
Candidate details show "—" instead of "N/a" and "No email provided" instead of a lone envelope icon.
Referral follow-up no longer shows two stacked empty messages with three different button labels — one empty state, one Link Job button.
v2.5.3
Impersonation banner, landing page, and dashboard display fixes
The impersonation banner no longer covers the page header, the landing page can't blank out anymore, and KPI cards no longer show a stray zero.
Fixed
The red "Active Impersonation" bar no longer covers the app. While impersonating, the sidebar logo and page titles used to hide underneath the fixed banner — the whole app now shifts down below it.
Landing page can no longer show a blank stretch. If the scroll-in animation failed to trigger, whole sections stayed invisible and left a long empty gap. Sections now always become visible, even when the animation can't run.
Dashboard KPI cards no longer show a stray "0". When a metric had no change since the last period, a lone zero appeared under the value. The recruiter and line-manager dashboards also now share one implementation, so they stay consistent.
v2.6.1
Fixed: Positions pages load again
Positions lists and the “Add Position” flow were failing to load for some workspaces. They now work again.
Fixed
Positions pages now load reliably. After the recent job-categories update, some Positions screens (including a client organization's Positions tab and the admin Positions list) could show "This page couldn't load" and blocked creating a new position. That's resolved — Positions load and you can create and edit them again.
v1.7.1
Report a bug without leaving the page
A new in-app button lets you report a bug with a short screen replay and technical details attached automatically.
New
Report a bug from anywhere in the app. A floating button (visible when you're signed in) opens a quick form where you can describe what went wrong.
When you submit, we automatically attach a short screen replay of the last minute, your recent activity logs, and your browser details — so there's no need to write reproduction steps or take screenshots.
Reports are sent straight to our team, which means faster diagnosis and fixes.
Your inputs are masked in the recording for privacy.
v1.7.0Highlight
A fresh new look
Workrize has a brand-new visual design — lighter, clearer, and more focused across every screen.
Improved
A whole new look across the app. Every screen — from the public landing page through your candidate, client, recruiter, and admin views — has been restyled with a fresher, lighter design and a clearer visual hierarchy.
A redesigned landing page with new sections that better explain how Workrize blends automated and human steps in your hiring pipeline.
Cleaner, more consistent components. Buttons, tables, cards, and forms now share a single refreshed design language, so the app feels more cohesive wherever you are.
This release is presentation-only — your data, workflows, and settings are unchanged.
v1.7.2
Easier-to-read tables and clearer controls
Checkboxes, status tags, and keyboard focus are now more visible and easier to read across the app.
Improved
Table checkboxes are now clearly visible. The selection boxes in tables had a very faint outline that was hard to spot on white rows — they now have a stronger, easier-to-see border.
More readable status tags. Coloured tags (such as the blue "AI" and purple "decision" labels) now use deeper text colours so the words are easier to read against their soft backgrounds.
Clearer keyboard navigation. Menu links now keep a visible focus outline when you move through them with the keyboard.
This release is presentation-only — your data, workflows, and settings are unchanged.
v1.5.0
Analytics for client organizations
Clients can now see hiring activity for their organization at a glance.
New
Client organizations now have an analytics view showing applications, open vacancies, and progress across their positions.
Numbers update as your recruiters move candidates through the process, so the picture is always current.
Fixed
Vacancy counts now exclude closed positions, so the totals match what you see on the jobs list.
v1.4.0
Help is now built into Workrize
A full documentation centre, available from the sidebar for every role.
New
A new Documentation centre is available from the sidebar. It has step-by-step guides for every role — candidates, recruiters, line managers, clients, and administrators.
Use the search box at the top of the docs to jump straight to the page you need.
Each guide opens in its own reading view, so you can keep the app open in another tab while you follow along.
Improved
The account menu and notification bell now have dedicated help pages, so it is easier to find out what each one does.
