Set up your organization
Organization creation, branches, and inviting members.
Last updated: 1 October 2026
As a client, you hire through one or more organizations. Each organization holds its own members, branches, positions, and vacancies, and you switch between organizations from a single account.
Your organizations
When you sign in, Organizations in the sidebar lists every organization you belong to. Select one to open its workspace. Inside an organization, the sidebar changes to that organization's navigation: Dashboard, Vacancies, Members, Branches, Positions, and Organization Settings. Use Back to Organizations to return to the list.
Add branches
Branches represent your physical locations or business units. Vacancies are attached to a branch, so set branches up before you start hiring.
To manage branches, open the organization and select Branches. From here you can add a new branch and edit existing ones. The Total Openings column shows how many openings each branch has.
Select a branch to open it. The Overview tab shows the branch's address and two numbers, both counted across every vacancy of the branch:
- Total Openings — the number of the branch's vacancies that are not Closed or Archived. Draft, approved, live and paused vacancies all count. This is the same number as the Total Openings column on the Branches list.
- Vacancy Total — the target headcount: the vacancies' positions to fill, added up across those same openings.
The Jobs tab lists that branch's vacancies. Use the funnel on a column heading to filter them by Job Title, Status, Vacancies or Posted On. Each status option shows how many of the branch's vacancies have it.
Invite members
Members are the colleagues who work in this organization's workspace with you.

Wait for them to accept
However many members your organization has, every one of them can be chosen wherever a person is picked — a position's Hiring manager, a stage's Evaluator, or a report's recipients. Type part of their name or email to find them. These lists only ever offer members of the organization you have open.
Member roles control what a person can do within the organization — for example, an organization admin has full control, while other roles such as member and hr have more focused access.
Organization settings
Select Organization Settings to manage the organization's details. Changes here apply to the whole organization, for all members.
Your account details
Organization settings also shows your Account: your industry, your Workrize account manager and your account status. The Workrize team keeps these up to date, so they are read-only here.
